Murray wins 63 63 and confirms his place at the World Tour Finals. If Tsonga beats Nishikori next, that makes it likely for Andy to be 4th seed in London too.

I thought you do not want Andy to be seeded 4th at WTF as that would mean he would not
get to play against EasiStan" in RR.

Now the picture is getting clearer. Berdych and Kei are almost a shoe in.

One of Ferrer and Milos, whoever performs better than the other in Bercy, will qualify.
If they both lose at the exact same round Ferrer will qualify as he is ahead by 25 points.
It is highly likely to be Ferrer as Milos cannot possibly beat Fed and Ferrer is already in QF.

There is that but it's no big deal who he plays really. Apart from Roger and Nole who will be favourites in each round robin match I pretty much feel that any of the other players have a good chance against each other.

Of more importance is the chance for Andy to get 4th seeding in Australia, which is looking increasingly possible with Stan losing today. It'll be tough with a likely match with Nole tomorrow but when you factor in that Stan is defending 250 points in Chennai too, there's a chance.

Raonic in a spot of bother, Agut serving to take it to a decider... Jo vs Kei should be a good one, hopefully it ends different to last year where Tsonga ended the match, and his season, serving double faults in a deciding tie break because he was suffering from an injury.

You might jinx Roger by saying Milos can't possibly beat him :snigger But on any kind of a medium/slow surface it seems unlikely.

Anyways Milos is in a dog fight with mega pusher Agut. Probably a decent sign that the courts are slow...

You should wish for Andy to be seeded 5 going into WTF and ranked 4 coming out of it.

If Andy is seeded 5, he will get double benefit of possibly playing "EasyStan" and avoiding
Berdych or Kei (depending on who is seeded no. 6)

I have a hunch that Tsonga might make some noise in Bercy.

^You beat me to it DF!

Re: Stan.. he could be in a world of ranking trouble. He'll lose a chunk of points after the AO. He really needs to push as hard as possible to have a buffer. But one thing is clear.. after Australia Murray will most likely be back in the top 4

I don't think Andy wants to face Stan. Regardless of Stan's form he has always given Murray a lot of problems.

He wants to be there before AO and has a high chance of doing that.

I noticed today that if (when) Stan loses most of those 2000 ranking points in January he could slip to the fringes of top ten

Isn't that where he was before AO?

If Stan loses his first rubber at DCF, nobody can accuse him of tanking the match so that
Roger's second rubber can be live. :snigger

Raonic had 22 Aces against RBA and Karlovic could manage only 5 against Lucas ranked #176.

Both RBA and Milos had negative differentials today.

Today is the first time, I am seeing some of the action in Bercy. I agree with the comments that
courts are slow.
