Rafa always has used to start slow and then he turns on the motor, when he was #1 and now too
By the way, I'd like to know what kind of "tough" opponents Federer has in this tournament......:snicker

No doubt! They really gave Nadal a tough draw in Basel! It's a conspiracy! ;)

No conspiracy, I think the crowd of Basel wants to see a Roger-Rafa final and more now than ever because Rafa is not playing his best :D

Mahesh Bhupathi is expecting people from all over the world :snicker to come to New Delhi on Dec. 12th to see Fedal Act in Circus. The organizers might be disappointed if that happens before that.

Sock Sock Sock it to 'im Sock Sock Sock!

Way to go Jack! If he wins his quarterfinal with Young (and way to go Young!) he'll move up to around No. 25 or so next week. Could face Federer in the SF. Sock is going to be fun to watch next year. Top 20 and more!

Cilic wins so he faces Nadal next. This Fed-Rafa final is starting to becoming a very real possibility. Oh boy.

Man, I am still bummed out about Rafa loosing in a 3rd set tiebreaker at Cincy to Feli. Dude. I had box seats for the next round for the possible Fedal. I think our good buddy Darth had left town prior but it would've been good to have a :celeb: with him at the court to witness that possible encounter.

Usually in a match like this, I fancy the underdog better if they have to break serve in the last game to win it. In other words, I think Kohl has a better shot at victory in a game on Federer's serve, at 5-4, or 6-5 up, than if he breaks in the next game, and serves for it at 5-3.

Longwinded, I know, but that's how I feel...

Clean escape by Roger, it seems. The lower orders usually feel the tension more when they serve, and have to take control of things...

Heart finally deciding to remove itself from my throat and slowly sliding back into place. That was kinda Halle redux

haha That was good to see Federer get out of it. Should beat Goffin easy. And then Sock!

Now that he escaped, I don't see him losing before the finals and most probably not even in the finals. Goffin, Sock or Young is not going to beat Fed at his home.
