Well, must say I'm very surprised Dimitrov won that set. Expected him to botch it. He played well to get to 40-0 there, then it looked like he was going to lose serve. He'll lose the next one anyway 6-3 or so I reckon.

Just for the record, did anyone see who won the toss? rafa served first, which seems a regular occurrence nowadays. Either they're getting smart and putting him into bat first, or he's changed his policy.

Well I can't smash head you, cos I too didn't think he'd manage to serve it out. Weird how the sets are going though.. each one Nadal loses serve first up

Dimitrov could be 5-1 up and I wouldn't have faith in him to win the set! Look how far ahead he was in set 2 and barely won it in the end. Got to 40-0 playing very well and a few donkey points and back to 40-30. Looked like he was gonna lose serve and if he did, he'd have likely lost the set 7-5.

Well, like anything else that's got potential, it's only easy to be right in hindsight. I thought he'd develop into a champ - not sure how good, or great - but he hasn't. Bloke has talent though, just not the mental application..

Yeah, totally inconsistent. When he's good he looks great but the bad completely outweighs the good unfortunately. Which is a shame 'cos the good is definitely fun to watch.
