She's not the only one. I see a few others without their mask or they have it pulled down (what's the use of that?)
They should be fine and locked up. Already the news from Melbourne is that the virus is creeping back up - the mutant virus. Also the inebriated heckler should be banned from ever attending the tennis again.

Mmoh is really hot. :rose:

Great start for the tournament for Rafa with two easy wins. :yesyes:
Hard to tell as the opponents he has played were each of questionable standard, nowhere near as good as RN.. They beat themselves. But Nadal really nailed some serves and his backhand , in his second Rd.

Just finished watching highlights of Rafa's match he has certainly changed his service action, the back is still not 100%.
He just needs to maneuver the back day by day. The good thing about Nadal is that he still seems positive so he is calm...for now. Also, it should allow to be super aggressive point by point

Regarding about Nadal’s back: It looks like it only affects his serve and not everything else. Now, will he win the tournament serving like this? Probably not a chance. But after watching his match last night and the way he was aggressive and moved around the court, he has an opportunity to at the very least reach the semifinals. The great thing is that he looks positive when he is playing and he does not think about his back. The key moving forward is to manage his back day by day and just play ultra aggressive as much as possible.

It is why the courts being fast allow him to be shorten the points and not worry about doing extended rallies.

Nadal's has the best op. to get to being a "Double Gold CGS" winner! Nole had his chance at FO last FALL, but wasn't likely from game one!

No, Rafa beat them, because, as is the case in Majors, first and second round matches, even third, can be lopsided. But you're right that they it's hard to judge his level based on the opponents. But any notion that they "beat themselves" is ludicrous.

I'm hoping that by 2nd week the back is no longer an issue. Only 100% is going to get him past the likes of Medvedev, Thiem and/or especially Djokovic. I'm not yet ready to settle for SFs. :crossed-swords:

The good news Moxie is that he is not making his back worse by playing matches. I would say that if he reaches the semifinals, he will try to see if he can serve bigger in the last two matches of the tournament. He will be an opportunistic person if he reaches the semifinals.

Also, I probably said this a lot of times but the last two matches have shown that the fast courts have actually helped Nadal a lot at this stage of his career! The difference between him and Federer is that Nadal prefers the higher bouncing court! That’s why he prefers playing at day in the AO because the ball is livier compared at night. Unfortunately, from the Quarters to the final, the matches are played at night, so he can’t really maximize his strengths.

Daniel Andrews,Premier of Victoria has just announced a lockdown from Midnight tonight Friday until Midnight next Wednesday
He said no public gatherings are permitted.I do not know how this will effect the AO.Trying to get more clearer news. There is a mutant of COVID-19 from England which has escalated.,through the Holdiday Inn in Melbourne.
One thing is certain there will be no fans allowed.I will wait for an announcement from Craig Tiley AO Director.

Is the Holiday Inn the hotel where the worker tested positive last week?

Feli's 75th consecutive Major, I think. He does have the record. He's got one foot in retirement, but he just keeps on going.
