Emma Raducanu really still thinks she can compete with the top players, like Swiatek.
She thinks on this occasion ( remember she has never ever taken a set off Iga) it was because she play bad.
Legend In her own head!

Danielle's presser following her 4-6,4-6, defeat. She say's she wants to "enjoy life and have fun with it" She later fires a backhander to Tony Jones, who anchors channel 9's otherwise "busy" tennis coverage, who called her a "Brat".

Emma's presser. Now, when was the last time a Grand Slam winner could only manage to win a measly one game in a subsequent GS singles round ?

now let's compare this to, Emma's 2021 US Open opponent who went down to Coco 4-6, 2-6.

An obvious question, can those two Emma and Leylah 2021 US Open finalists, ever reach tennis heights again ?

Coco has more weapns than Leylah, her weight of shot for eg, too hard for Leylah to handle in that match

same thing could be asked of Sloan, a one-time U S Open winner, it's bad luck she was drawn to play Sabalenka in the first round, however...

Sloane should have retired years ago, she goes out in the first round of her tournaments she has played since last year, also a known lazy trainer

At least Sloane had some good follow-up runs, both before and after her slam wins. She even made a second slam final not too shortly after winning her US Open. Emma has never replicated her success at the 2021 US Open. Not at a slam. Not at a Masters. Not even in a 250.

Please Sloane has always been a lazy trainer, she had the game after she won her USO title to win more GS titles, and her game has gone from bad to worse over the years, she should do herself a favor and retire, instead of enter tournaments and going out in first rd matches
