it's looking bad for Emma right now, she's down 1-6, and 0-3 with two service breaks, what's happened? She's not been able to get into this match at all :thinking-face:

Sounds like an excuse to me. Don't they practice in the evening conditions? She never made the adjustment through 2 sets of tennis? Top players don't make excuses, they make changes.
it's an excuse, all right. At best, you would think her coach woulda taken care of arranging practice sessions for evening conditions/

Iga SWIATEK has just scored an emphatic win against Emma Raducanu, 6-1,6-0. Tell me what happened ? Because we all known Emma's a better player than this!!!

Iga Swaitek plays a 'flawless' match against Raducanu 61 60
Emma has yet to even take 1 set off Iga in their previous matches, going on this display, it will be a 'long time coming'

Iga was just Flawless in all departments, Emma has never taken a set of Iga, on this performance it will be a long time coming if she ever does!

Right, but you know as well as I know Emma Raducanu. a one time U S Open winner, is a better tennis player than this !!!!

Far out, that was tough match-up to watch :anxious-face-with-sweat: I love both these Gal's. Iga's game when she's confident and at full level, is fun to watch.

One time GS USO is correct, in 2021? what has she done since then? nothing, except changing coaches after nearly every tournament she lost., she has had more coaches than I have eaten baked dinners lol!, withdrawals, excuses, yes she did have surgery, still hasnt shown a glimpse of form when she won the USO in 2021, she didnt play a warm up tournament to the AO, because she didnt feel she was ready? no she wasnt ready and was blown off the court by Iga.

then she should take a break from tennis, if she's lacking commitment and other issues? I don't recall seeing her play so poorly. Not to mention the spectators who've paid good money to see what should have been a far more competitive game.

This is how much Emma Raducanu is Delusional! her comments before her match with Iga Swiatek, btw she has never taken a set off Iga
"I know I can trouble her, beat her. We're considered the best of our generation for a reason.I just need to go out there and play my game. The results will speak for themselves"
Yes they did Emma you were blown off the court and only managed one game.I dont know who puts these ideas in your head, I suggest you engage your brain before opening you mouth again! This is totally embarrassing!

This is not the first time she has played poorly, some of her sponsors like Porsche have taken away their sponsorship from Emma, because of her bad results, she has taken time off the tour, coming back same old story.

Rybakina had lower back issues in her match against Yastremska, went off court for a MTO, not sure if she will show up for her next match, Keys or Collins if the back dosent respond in the next few days

I forgot to post this result from yesterday
Elina Svitolina (28) defeated No 4 seed Jasmine Paolini in 3 sets 26 64 60. Mr and Mrs Monfils had a great day each taking out the No 4 seeds in the womens and mens section of the draw.

Sabalenka v Andreeva again? they must be sick and tired of meeting each other
Vekic and Pavs is a toss up for me, Vekic never gives up, Pavs when 'on' is just a pure striker of the ball and these courts suit her play
Sabalenka (1) Gauff (3) Badosa (11) should all move through

Elina Svitolina said she was inspired by her husband's win ( Gael Monfils) when she was competing against Jasmine Paolini, she won in 3 sets.
