He looks like the 2011 version of himself. Unfortunately for him, the season is ending. I guess he is wishing he had started this great run earlier in the year. He looks untouchable.
They said he changed racquets early in the year, to ease pressure on the elbow. That took some getting used to.He looks like the 2011 version of himself. Unfortunately for him, the season is ending. I guess he is wishing he had started this great run earlier in the year. He looks untouchable.
First, he has to beat Zverev the second time this week, to show him where is his place.Taking another AO will be quite enough for me and maybe threaten another Nole-Slam! Just let him savor being back at #1 during the dead period in the schedule! All Rafa can do is watch it increase while his lags way behind, maybe never to grow again!

I hope he remembers what happened in Paris final.
And Darren Carhill has been saying that his serve has improved. The new racket seems to be working wonders. They said he changed racquets early in the year, to ease pressure on the elbow. That took some getting used to.

I should put you on ignore, but I don't, because it cracks me up to see the pearls you get out.Look how greedy these gloryhunting fed haters are. These same imbeciles don't think twice to lecture Fed fans about how we only want Fed to win. Pathetic!

Indeed. I think he's serving the best of his career. Yikes! And Darren Carhill has been saying that his serve has improved. The new racket seems to be working wonders.
I wouldn't use Nalbandian as your example of sportsmanship. Don't forget he was the guy who was defaulted out of Queens Club in a final for harming a lines person. The other thing is, since Zverev saw it, it distracted him. Anyway, the rules are clear. It's not "gamesmanship" (as Fiero said) to ask that the rules be enforced. Anyway, even if Fed had won that TB, he'd still have had to win the 3rd set.bratrev is such an arrogant jerk. He could've easily played on but he decided to make a mountain out of a molehill. Ask yourself would a player like say Haas or Nalbandian do something like this? Probably not.
I don't even like fakervic but I hope he crushes this flame haired blonde hippie giraffe stick legs like a bug tomorrow.
Why do you think he would have won the 3rd set if Federer had won the tiebreak?I wouldn't use Nalbandian as your example of sportsmanship. I didn't say he would have, I said that Roger would still have had to have won the 3rd set. But I will say, based on the way they were playing, now that you ask, I do think Zverev would have won it. Look at @mrzz's posts, and he's a Roger fan. Roger was low on the winners count. Zverev was serving hard and well, and he was committing to some net play. Roger was making poor choices as to when to come in, and getting passed. Do YOU think Roger would have won a 3rd? (EDIT: actually, I made a grammatical error, which I fixed. I didn't mean to give the impression that I thought Zverev would have won, only that Federer still had a set to go. I can see why you might have thought I was insisting for Sasha.)Why do you think he would have won the 3rd set if Federer had won the tiebreak?
