Shock on the horizon? The first set is won by Milos 7-5 against Andy.
They exchange breaks early in the second, on serve now.
I very much hope so. Milos never won so many long rallies in his career against Murray like today.Shock on the horizon?
I think he's improved a lot but the footwork is not too strong. And his serve seems less effective in tiebreaks. If he can stay injury free he can trouble anyoneRaonic has got much stronger without me noticing. A bit more skill at the net and he'll be really concerning
Hoping for Murray here. Since Djoker and Fed will be compared with each other like Fed and Nadal this is quietly a huge tournament for Novak. He can equal a couple Fed marks if he wins this tourney (5 years at #1 and 6 YEC's.

I am both a Nole and Milos supporter, so we are in different camps, obviously.[/QUOTE
Me too. Would like a Milos Novak final. Milos came close to beating Murray - I think it was Australia but was injured. Felt so sorry for him then, he deserved the win. This would mean such a lot to him if he can hang onto this one.
He most likely will finish the year ranked number 3, so that should be caused by some improvements.
He actually finishes ahead of Stan? I guess I shouldn't be too surprised since Stan did nothing aside from USO this year. Pretty sad year overall aside from the top 2. Roger playing like a clown all year would've finished top 3
