Saw the end too. Mahut pulled the upset. He is very low ranked these days, at 37y his focus is mainly the doubles where is always a favorite to win with Herbert.
Got a WC and he took advantage of it.
The French crowd went crazy.

Mahut delivered an upset of the day so far. From what I saw he was very agressive at the end of the match and it paid off. Cecchinato didn't capitalize on a few break points in the 7th game in the 5th and also destroyed a few draw bracket challenges.

And Cecchinato just not delivering the whole clay season. He will loose a bunch of points now and slip in rankings.

@Fiero425 I was expecting shortman to go against Fed, but need to wait and see will it happen.

Djere beats Ramos. These two pretty good players on clay, but Ramos is past his prime and going downhill while Djere is trending up.

I like Djere. He’s still fairly young, so I’m hoping he can become a steady presence in the top 25 within the next year or so.

Schwartzman is in trouble. At the beginning of the 4th set he had a break up 2 times, but couldn't hold. This will now go to 5th. Another upset is possible, Fucs is blowing him of the court at the moment. Will be interesting to see if he can keep the momentum going.

Based on the 4th set score, I’m thinking Schwartzman will win the 5th.

EDIT: They’re not showing it where I am, so I’m basing this purely on the numbers, not on how they’re actually playing.

On TCC we got Sloane Stephens closing out her match! She was up a break, but it's now even in the 2nd at 4 all! DOI's not going away!

Diego just can't hold a serve. He is like Errani at the moment. I am watching on Eurosport 1 via Kodi.

To me, that's a "big ask" for both to make the 4th Round even with Qualifiers, LL's, & other upsets in Roger's path! You never know how you'll play until you get out there on court! I could tell from the 1st strike of warm-up! It wouldn't take much to get Roger in trouble on clay IMO! o_O  :ptennis:

One of the worst aspects of a tournament is when Americans take court. Tennis Channel feels obligated to show them, no matter how uninteresting the match really is, and all I’m feeling is frustration they’re not showing something else.

You were right, Fucs deflated and easily lost the 5th.
