Just finished watching the qualifying match in Cinncy between Osaka v Krueger which went to 3 sets
Osaka had a break in the 3rd set then a sleuth of errors and DF handed the break back to Krueger who broke again and won the match 36 62 63
I wonder of Osaka will go to the tournament in Monterrey or Cleveland next week?
I saw former glimpses of Osaka in this match, how good she can be on a HC her problem is 'sustaining it" the younger Krueger really smacks the ball and is on the 'rise' and is only going to get better.

Ladies singles final in Toronto the match is tied up with 1 all, with Amanda winning the 2nd set 62, appears to have settled down in this match now

This match has been 'crazy' to say the least, each set one player has taken charge, unless Pegula 'implodes' she will defend her title and win back to back titles at the Canadian Open
Amanda hasnt played a lot of matches lately not at this level, Jess just far to good today, still Amanda has had a great tournament reaching her 1st WTA1000 tournament, since taking a break earlier in the year.

Zhu Lin has withdrawn from the USO
Anna Bondar moves into the womens singles main draw.
Next 5 in line if there are more withdrawals, in order,
Martic, Hibino,Baptiste,Osaka,Timofeeva.
USO have not yet announced their WCs seeing Osaka is a former USO champ, she will get in as a WC, though after her lost in qualies yesterday for Cinncy tournament, she said 'she dosent feel like she is in her own body' trying to explain some of the losses she has had this year.
