Me neither. Donna recovered well after that tough loss in Wimbledon SF. Honestly, I tought she was going to flop here in the OG, but she just continued with her great recent found belief and form. This is so far the best stretch of tennis in her career.

Looks like both players will try to use their fhands to win points.Zheng has a really good 1st serve, so it will be up to Vekic to return well
Vekic nervy on her service game and broken by Zheng

Zheng has a higher top spin on her fhand than Vekic which on clay helps
Donna over played her fhand there, it was her point as well, could have broken Zheng
Zheng finally holds saving BPs leads 3-0

MM I think this long game swinged the set in Qinwen favour now. Donna still needs to vet on scoreboard. Too bad for that FH DTL, overcooked a bit and perhaps rushed.

Qinwen serve is real weapon and her shots have a lot of spin. Donna will struggle with both.
