I tried but my version of tennis frontier's Holy Trinity, Miss @kskate2 , @MargaretMcAleer and @Moxie likes to have their AP posting and they're correct. Kieran and the Sicilian it's not as hostile during the Fedal years IMO.
The Djoker fans only come out when he’s winning, that’s why. Largely anyway, I know @don_fabio and @Fiero425 are regular posters regardless of the score. Sometimes anyway it’s not a bad idea to stop posting for a while, get some head space!

That's because you still come around and discuss all in PMs, so our point is that you may as well post publicly. :)

Since today is tennis-free, for those who have Tennis Channel, at 11:30am ET today you can watch a rerun of that old chestnut, Nadal d. Federer Wimbledon '08.
Funny you mention that one, sister, I watched the final set last night before going to bed. Rafa was so tough and lean, really fearless, and I could finally appreciate Roger too, he was cool under pressure, great efforts to try break Rafa’s serve, immense shot making from both of them. Impossible to imagine how we all survived that match intact. It’s certainly the greatest match since the 1980 deity of tennis matches.

Roger was 2 points from winning, which also means he was 2 points from triggering a mass spontaneous combustion of millions of Rafa fans!

Wow I didn't remember Federer was that close to winning! I remember he had a break point in the 5th. I must re watch the match sometime :)

He had break point at 4-3, and I think it was 30-all at 5-4, and maybe another Rafa service game after that. I got too tense watching it even 14 years later - but I really admired how confidently Rafa swatted away these threats!

If I recall correctly, it was at the point in the match their level of play was at the highest and I had the utmost confidence that Rafa was still in control of his destiny. IMO

Don Fabio is a great poster, also a balanced Novak fan, unlike some we have had at TF:) not naming names,

Novak Djokovic said in his presser that he has no intention of taking the COVID 19 vaccine, understands at present he will not be able to play in the United States of America, that is why he has extra motivation to do well at Wimbledon this year.
