As I said Rafa has no pressure on him at Wimby this year, he has not played for a few years, if he can make it through to the 2nd week he can be dangerous...I miss Darth he had a really dry sense of humor.I also miss Federberg, Britbox, Front seems to be posting more now, maybe when Roger returns later this year, some of Rogers fans will re-appear again

A few others mentioned re-watching that match. It was a great one. I do miss the debates with the likes of our dearly departed Darth, who insisted that, while he had never re-watched a minute of it, he remembered fully well how Roger was only half-speed, and the grass played slow, etc. I guess the debate is finally settled...it really was one of the greatest matches of all time. I will give it a revisit myself, hoping that now is the time for Rafa to repeat. He does have the tougher draw, though. Hard to see Novak not making the final unless he steps on his own foot.

Good to know, Rafa has no pressure on him at present.everything he will achieve now is just an added bonus.Agree I dont need to go back to the AO again this year, I was fine at RG, I knew Rafa would win, it is his backyard.
One day when I feel up to it I will rewatch the AO....seeing I know the result

I think you were nervous about RG especially FAA and Novak's match combined with the unknown of how his health would be at the end of the tournament. Yes, you wasn't 100 percent certain of the entire forthnight at Paris.

LOL! I did not I just woke up btw, I have had 3 long night at work, doing extra shifts.I was brain dead and wasnt up to concentrating on picking players.Let me see how you go smarty....I will try at the USO

I only got a bit nervous when it went longer than I thought with FAA, Rafa is a much better clay court player than Novak, I knew he could win.
As I said before Novak had a dream draw at RG, until he had to face Rafa, sometimes in a draw it pays to have some type of a hard match,it showed when Novak played Rafa., Novak's body language said it all to me, Rafa actually should have won in 3 sets, he did have a break in the 2nd set, that was the only set that Novak played well.
Novak has a dream draw at Wimbledon? will this also go against him? we shall see no?

Just read an article on Shapo whose game has gone AWOL, since he defeated Rafa at Rome he hasnt won a match? though he did make the s/finals at Wimbledon last year, I have to agree with him on this point he is totally against the new trial of coaching by the ATP. after Wimbledon. Let us see if he can find his game again on the grass.

Already raining... The whole we can always show live tennis because of the two roofs is incorrect, as they only start play on the roof courts at 1pm. The schedule needs a shake up. Centre & Court 1 should change from 3 to 4 matches per day & start play 1-2 hours earlier.

Novak Djokovic said in his presser that he has no intention of taking the COVID 19 vaccine, understands at present he will not be able to play in the United States of America, that is why he has extra motivation to do well at Wimbledon this year.

I will have to mute him, watching some of Novak's match.Some one in the crowd is unwell, play has been stopped.Novak won the 1st set 63.Play has restarted on CC.
