Goran Ivanisevic. told Serbian publication Sportklub, that Novak is ready to move on from his defeat in his q/final match at RG loss to Rafa Nadal.Novak plans to travel to London to train on the grass.Novak will probably not have a warm up tournament, Goran said, we will see more, but now is the time to recover mentally.
Basically, all the "complaining" he did was nothing but venting.

4 consecutive losses from Shapo, who wont be able to defend his 720 points from Wimbledon 2021
Oscar Otte defeated Shapo 76 76 to reach the q/finals in Stuttgart

IS there a chance that Wimbledon will change their stance.. McEnroe feels that they may.

You can forget it! When Wimbledon takes a stance, it's a done deal! They will allow the tourney to fail before ever caving to pressure! It just doesn't register as if they're in another reality! When they went to the yellow tennis ball in 1986, they had the gall to announce "the rest of the world should follow our lead!" They're delusional AF in so many way! The only time they allowed something out of the norm was a 'John McEnroe!' He abused the linespeople and chair umpires! Any other player would have been not only "defaulted," but banned for life! When McEnroe actually won his 1st title in '81, his honorary membership to the club was withheld! I think they subsequently gave it to him after he lost the marathon final against Connors in '82! All you have to do is look back to '73 when they banned Nikki Pilic from playing in the tourney and 81 of ATP players in solidarity to him withdrew! The tournament went on as scheduled, seeding a little known Bjorn Borg to #6 behind #5 Jimmy Connors unexpectedly! :astonished-face: :fearful-face:

I kinda think Felix might be the dark horse who comes quietly very good over the course of the grass season....

I have Felix as a favorite behind Novak, Rafa if he plays and young Pegasus .. I know the ladies (Keli, Moxie and Miss Margaret fancy Signor Matteo) but Felix is gonna beat him if they face each other especially since they dont have the cousin dating scenario anymore. Signor Matteo is a player again

Without question, this is Berrettini’s surface, and it will be interesting to see how he does this year after the surgery in March. His ranking is going to take a hit, too, when he drops the 1,200 points he won’t be able to defend at Wimbledon.

If Nadal plays Wimbledon, here are my favorites for Wimbledon:

1. Djokovic
2. Nadal
3. FAA
4. Matteo
5. Cilic (due to his play at Slams)

I would put Fritz as a dark horse IF he plays his Sunshine double level.

Alcaraz can be a dark horse just depending if he is able to limit his mistakes.

Very Good.. this should be excellent for Fritz.. I think besides Alcaraz he may be the one person who has defeated Rafa that I didnt have an issue with. Ftitz is as we say in Chicago " on the come up"

Since he beat Tsitsipas today, who knows, a favorable W draw and I could see Sir Andy with a good run at Wimbledon.

Fiero, your man could do you proud!

If Murray wins Stuttgart this week, he will more than likely get seeded at Wimbledon.

Right now, Murray is ranked 53rd in the world, if he wins Stuttgart, he will be ranked 35th in the world.

Very interesting. He's got 2 big hurdles to get that title: Nicky in SF and possibly Babycakes in F. If he wins this title beating those players, big props to him.

BTW Ruud was only joking when he said his preparation on grass was playing golf, he is now practicing on the grass.
