Van Rijthoven played well. And now I've got that old Red Baron song in my head.

Bad Nick K was up to his usual tricks in his match against Murray
1. Warning for ball abuse, point penalty for swearing and breaking racquet
2. Game penalty for, more swearing, arguing and another racquet smash.Supervisor was called in the 2nd set.Point penalty was awarded in the 2nd set
Will he ever learn!

Felix should be ashamed of himself loosing to the #205 ranked player. Give the guy credit, he took out Fritz too

It happens; even to the best of them! Back in the day I can still remember Sampras going out early to someone named Ulrich a couple times! Of course Pete's most famous loss was to Federer in 5 sets at '01 Wimbledon, but loss to Swiss nobody, Bastl in '02 hurt everyone's soul! :pleading-face::astonished-face:

For whatever reason I thought that Murray is back with Lendl, but that’s not true, right?

I never understood why Sis Moxie is always campaigning for me not to move him up on the Villians list.

When Kyrgios stop to make stupid things maybe he would get more respect from the crowd

Well when she comes online and actually saw what I wrote about the 'manic behavior' she may have to rethink
I mean Nick K said he was a 'changed man' well that did not last long

Carol ....NickK behavior especially in the 2nd set, when he had ' A Melt Down' was beyond a disgrace, he will be heavily fined, that does not appear to worry Nick K at all
BTW I did not hear the 'racial slur'

I agree that a loss on a grass warmup isn't the most shocking thing in the world.

Having said that, FAA is puzzling because the natural gifts are apparent, and but with him so far it's 2 steps forward, 1 step back. The expectations were all there for Felix AA to beat a #205 ranked player to get to the finals and start establishing his grass cred. It's his failure to build upon a good result or even an "encouraging loss" that seems to be his MO. So this is almost a textbook classic Felix loss.

Of course all is forgiven if he gets at least to QTRS and preferably SF's at Wimbledon. He's going to be seeded top 8, so let's wait and see.
