I think if there is ever a moment for Novak to find his A game would be at Wimbledon to deny Rafa a shot at the Calendar Slam. He seems to really live for those moments.
This plus there's a good chance that his next slam appearance won't be until 2023 Roland Garros. And if he wants to overtake Nadal in the slam titles, he really needs to win this year's Wimbledon.

Semi finals at Queens,
Cilic vs Krajinovic
Berrettini vs Van de Zandschulp

If Matteo wins tomorrow, he will be in the Top 8 at Wimbledon, therefore the Top 4 seeds will not have to face him until QF. As for Cilic, if he wins Queens title, he will be seeded 12th at Wimbledon, therefore, the Top 4 seeds do not have to face him until QFs also.

Hopefully Matteo wins so he will be seeded in the Top 8 at Wimbledon, some compensation after what the powers did to him at Wimbledon this year.

Lets hold our breath for a minute, there hasn't been any comments from Jannik at present or Cahill for that matter.I know the Italian media have not been over happy with Jannik's new coach, think he hasnt got the experience., to be fair Jannik has had a horrid season so far with injuries.
Hmm the youngster should not be skiing, he should talk to Roger Federer, who had to curtail his love of skiing, for tennis.
Okay this is updated news from Italian media and also sky sport,

Darren Chahill has joined the Sinner team.....I am over the moon with this news, Jannik could have not have a better coach than Cahill.

2023 will be VERY interesting if Cahil is able to instill the match fitness and strengthening to Jannik Sinner like he did to Agassi and Halep.

I have a feeling after the US Open, Cahill will start Sinner’s training regime, so Sinner will be physically ready for 2023!

Well 2023 can only be better fitness wise, Jannik has not only injury woes this year also catching COVID which did not help his cause.
We both have said Jannick needs fitness and strengthening, no better coach to instill that than Cahill.

S/final results in Halle,

Medvedev d Otteo 76(3) 63

Just finished watching the match between Hubi and Nick in a tightly contested match,
Hurkacz d Kyrgios 46 76(2) 76 (4)....well done Hubi, his first grass court final

It means that Kyrgios will be unseeded for Wimbledon.

Loved the honesty from Filip Krajinovic, who made the final at Queens,

"To be honest I don't like to play on grass, every year I find a way of skipping the tournaments"

If only my other Italian youngster Lorenzo Musetti who has a well rounded game, especially his one handed bhand, can get some fitness building and strength training....maybe Cahill could do a 2 for 1 offer with Jannik and Lorenzo :)

30 years old and never won a grass match in his career! Now he wins 4 in a week & makes the final :lol6::clap:I think he may take grass more seriously now, he has been very impressive this week.

Wimbledon Men's Singles top 16 seeds are set: 1. Djokovic 2. Nadal 3. Ruud 4. Tsitsipas 5. Alcaraz 6. Auger-Aliassime 7. Hurkacz 8. Berrettini 9. Norrie 10. Sinner 11. Fritz 12. Schwartzman 13. Shapovalov 14. Cilic 15. Opelka 16. Carreño Busta

As a Nadal fan, in my opinion, the biggest threats are FAA, Cilic, and Hurkacz

The three that I have mentioned above have the big serve and consistent backhand to trouble Nadal on a grass court especially if Nadal is off on his return game.

I think Matteo is dangerous I just think his backhand slice will get eaten alive by Nadal (and Djokovic). As for Alcaraz, he is talented enough to reach the QF, but he is too inexperienced on Grass to lose early (like 3rd Round).

I don’t know there are a lot of lower ranked players I was impressed with Otte has been playing well and could take someone out if they aren’t careful. Kyrgios could also take someone out he likes those big match moments.

Yap, Daniil with some mental issues since AO and not able to seal the deal back then.

His coach even left the court after Daniil cursed at him or something. Still Hurkacz is strong player on grass, but there was absolutely no real reason to lose last week against nobody in the final.
