I also think his team isn’t that great because they should have been hitting challengers to start and not these tournaments that would definitely be a knock to his confidence losing in the first round.
I just also read if things go well after these other tournaments he is scheduled to play, the USO is on his list, still he keeps saying he will play challenger events and then withdraws, to me there is something more going on with him, physically and or mentally.

He'd look quite foolish with his best chance with Fed out of it and Nole still trying to gain his sea-legs! To me if Rafa had avoided Wimbledon, it w/b like the winner of the Kentrucky Derby & Preakness skipping out on the Belmont! I don't think Rafa will succeed, but he had to go or look gutless! :-)2
I don’t think Rafa will ever look “gutless” but he definitely owes it to himself to try…

I think if there is ever a moment for Novak to find his A game would be at Wimbledon to deny Rafa a shot at the Calendar Slam. He seems to really live for those moments.

Well done to Berrettini defeating Paul 64 62 to make s/finals at Queens, Matteo just needs to make the final and he will be seeded in the Top 8 at Wimbledon.

Rafa Nadal, Novak Djokovic both have signed up to play the Giorgi Armani Classic at the Hurlingham Club next week.
Casper Ruud, Carlos Alcaraz, FAA, plus Andy Murray possibly involved as well.

And Novak, last time I looked nobody put a gun to his head preventing him from entering the warmup grass tournaments including Halle and Queens…..

I don’t know Serena seemed to always feel when she did play warm ups before Wimbledon that it threw her off because the bounce was very different. Now that could just be Serena’s easy way of not wanting to participate in tournaments leading up to Wimbledon.

Hurkacz d FAA in his q/final match in Halle 76(2) 76(4) BTW Hubi was more clutch in the t/breaks
Hubi is another player whose game suits grass, could also be a dangerous player at Wimbledon this year

I saw it. Let's see on how Sinner will do on Cahill's training regime at Las Vegas. One thing for sure: It will be less skiing for the young Italian in the off-season

Lets hold our breath for a minute, there hasn't been any comments from Jannik at present or Cahill for that matter.I know the Italian media have not been over happy with Jannik's new coach, think he hasnt got the experience., to be fair Jannik has had a horrid season so far with injuries.
Hmm the youngster should not be skiing, he should talk to Roger Federer, who had to curtail his love of skiing, for tennis.
