This incident definitely deserves a ban beyond the Acapulco tournament... Let's see what happens.
What's wrong with the Russian players? The bad behavior is off the chain. Tsitsipas is a cheat. Shapovolov is also violent and complains a lot, Medvedev is just not likeable. Rublev plays ugly tennis. Khachanov also has a temper, Zverev true colors came out. Men tennis has no hope with this bunch.
Translation:This is what Alexander Zverev posted on his instagram account,
"It is difficult to put into words how much I regret my behavior during and after the doubles match yesterday.I have privately apologized to the chair umpire because my outburst towards him was wrong and unacceptable, and I am only disappointed in myself. It just should not have happened and there is no excuse.I would also like to apologize to my fans, the tournament and the sport that I love.As you know,I leave everything on the court.Yesterday,I left too much.I am going to take the coming days to reflect on my actions and how I can ensure that it will not happen again.I am sorry for letting you down".
Actions speak louder than words....I still feel he should be suspended for up coming tournaments he is playing. One of the worst,if not the worst display of abusive behavior towards an umpire I have witnessed.,sad to say.Translation:
- self-imposed silent ban coming
- PR folks told him to get out in front of it so it doesn't affect the rest of his season
Did he actually strike the chair umpire on the foot ?Actions speak louder than words....I still feel he should be suspended for up coming tournaments he is playing. One of the worst,if not the worst display of abusive behavior towards an umpire I have witnessed.,sad to say.
Did he actually strike the chair umpire on the foot ?
Sasha was very close,go back and look at the videoDid he actually strike the chair umpire on the foot ?
Sasha was close to hitting the feet of the umpire,I mean the umpire flinched....regardless he has to be suspended then more than one tournament. What made if worse he got up and verbally abused the umpire again? It must have been a close call! If he actually struck the umpire, he might be behind bars!
Noone can excuse Zverev and his blantant aggressive abuse of the umpire on TF
If they do they probably need to join him in a Abusive Therapy Program
BTW I have notice with abusers they apologize profusely after abusing
You know why the GFs and wives take them back because the 'Abusers' tell them 'I Did Not Want To Hit You But You Made Me Do It'Nothing new really! Guys who abuse GF's & wives are quick to apologize then say "it'll never happen again!" We all know that's BS & are taken back!
Yep he missed out getting his 700 win....maybe in IW...you obsessive where Murray is concerned? Never lol!Being obsessive, I hate that I missed Murray getting his clock cleaned earlier! How long can he allow the embarrassment of letting kids work him?
I saw it. The ATP doesnt pay enough for that not to have been me in that chair. AP would have jumped down from that chair and been all over the German like white on rice.Sasha was very close,go back and look at the video
This is for Fiero.. Listen to Sir Andy Murray dress down this clown F3Being obsessive, I hate that I missed Murray getting his clock cleaned earlier! How long can he allow the embarrassment of letting kids work him?
