Actions speak louder than words....I still feel he should be suspended for up coming tournaments he is playing. One of the worst,if not the worst display of abusive behavior towards an umpire I have witnessed.,sad to say.
I don't disagree. I'm just not convinced they will do anything more. Their track record lately for discipline has been subpar.

Agree it has been subpar,I feel it is their duty to send a strong message that this type of behavior will not acceptable in the present or future.,for all players, also for junior players, and suspend Zverev for up coming tournaments he is entered to play.

Poor kid. Getting served a bakery product. He must really need those carbs.

You're not wrong they have been poor, however everyone has seen that video and there is a lot of disgust and outrage across the internet/world. Gilbert and PMac among those calling for a suspension to go with hefty fines. On top of it, it rather reminded a lot of folks out there that there was supposed to be a domestic violence investigation going on in terms of Zverev. I don't think they now just get to keep dragging their feet and hoping it goes away.

The men's ATP Tour will host four tournaments in China this season, unlike the WTA Tour which has suspended events in the region due to concerns over the treatment of Peng Shuai and the safety of other players.
The ATP Chengdu,Zhuhai Championships, China Open and Shanghai Masters will take place in China between September and October.

It's one of many reasons I'm ready to stop watching sports altogether! Money's more important than sportsmanship and morality! The latest insanity has top athletes apologizing for being honest on controversial topics and country tyranny! The latest has Phil Mickelson backtracking on his comments of Saudi Arabia trying to start a golf tour over there even though we're still investigating the murder of Jamal Khashoggi! At least Shanghai Masters wasn't played last season! It had more to do with Covid I'm sure! How about this year? Anyone? :face-with-symbols-on-mouth::fearful-face:

I've seen this J.J.Wolf person once! Where's he been hiding? He has the body build of my era with meat on the bones and arse! Today, most are skinny sticks that look breakable! He doesn't have the game to even test Stefanos on HC in Acapulco! :face-with-hand-over-mouth::facepalm::fearful-face::face-with-symbols-on-mouth:

I think I have said before Sport and Politics do not mix,or should not be entered into....sad to say it is alive and kicking....Money talks, morality is being thrown out the door.

IIRC, it wasn't slow enough to save Rafa from being upset in the 2nd Rd. by Kyrgios up 5 MP's in that 3rd set Tie-Breaker in 2019! :face-with-hand-over-mouth: :astonished-face:
Fact .....Rafa dosent really like slow surfaces.....you have to get with the current program lol!

I'm sure Kamau Murray will step in and bring men's tennis back to Chicago if possible

Like this is something new! What is wrong with you? Tennis players have been maniacs on court for as long as I can remember! Just because you haven't seen much of it doesn't mean it isn't going on all the time! They're being restrained for the most part, but with COVID pressures, politics, $$$, endorsements, etc., players just aren't holding it in as much! Get over it babe! :face-with-hand-over-mouth::yawningface: :astonished-face:
well they are ruining what Roger and Rafa created. The worst thing is they all play ugly tennis with the exception of Tsitsipas and Shapo.Zverev once tested positive for that drug that pova tested positive for.
My hope is in Alcaraz Berretoni,FAA,Sinner for sanity on tour.

Thiem is the exception..I like his tennis ball striking ability.

Djokovic is getting all he wants and more from Vesely in Dubai! Reminds me of their match a few years ago on clay where Novak was upset by this guy! He's doing just enough to throw Novak off his game with dropshots, actually outdueling him from the baseline with timely serving! Might be the end of the #1 ranking for him down a set and a break! Medvedev won't even have to win Acapulco to take over! :astonished-face:  :fearful-face::facepalm:

J Vesely defeats Novak 6-4, 7-6. Fiero, I think, you're right, doesn't this guarantee Medvedev gets to #1 this week? This should help Medvedev relax the rest of this tourney, the pressure is off.

Yep. Djoke needed to win this week to have any chance of staving off Meddie in the event he goes down before the Aca final.
