I actually want Kyrgios to speak about this incident. I hope he doesn’t stay quiet especially if ATP doesn’t do anything about it.
What are the chances Nick stays quiet? :lulz1:

Gerry Armstrong is the tournament umpire in Mexico
Surely this is a rule within the official rule book regarding the verbal abuse from Zverev and his abuse also with his racket towards the umpire's chair

Still no word from the ATP/ITF on the abuse of his former girl friend, this so called investigation has been going on for months with no resolve. The latest I heard the former girl friend has not heard one word.
Agree this was a blantant and intentional act from Zverev....enough is enough, what kind of message does he send to the rest of the ATP tour? and also rising junior players?....what kind of so called role model?
Keep him out of the game with a sanction if he does this again suspend him for the rest of the year.
If the powers that be act on this with the same speed and sense of urgency they seem to deal with anything, nothing will happen this year, either on the domestic abuse case, or the umpire abuse in Acapulco. Yes, they will kick Zverev out of the tournament. Then they will kick the can down the road and hope everyone forgets about it. I hope I'm wrong, but when has it ever been different?

Well it cannot be kicked under the rug and forgotten surely with his behavior.,time for a change,it is unacceptable.
I just looked at the video again and he nearly hit the umpire in the feet with his racket...again Unacceptable

Not with social media. It's all over Twitter. And I don't really see anyone taking up the Zverev side. I did see one commentator who mentioned that he'd gone on court quite late, the night before, and finished at 4:30am or something. Not really making an excuse of it. But I will say this: tennis players are performers, and they tend to work late. They also tend only to be on stage for a few hours at a time. Tough shit if you work late. I'd feel worse for them if they were asked to start at 9am, since they never are. Social media will force them to deal with him, I think.

Meantime, Millman suffered a freak accident by getting hit in the eye with the ball, and is out.

I just read on twitter that Zverev has been withdrawn from singles. We'll see, but it has to be the way they'll go.

EDIT: Draw on ATP website has Gojowcyzk with the win over Zverev via W/O.

I saw that I hope he will be okay....The Young Greek won in straight sets in Mexico without any drama lol!
I've been meaning to mention how much I like the pink pinstriped top he is sporting. He really should shit-can his dad, and seize this moment to be the less-disliked of the top young guys.

It was the only way to go. Let's see what else they come up with for punishment, because there has to be a fine (#whocareswhentheyaremillionaires) but there should be something else.

Fines are not going to do anything,I am sure he will get one,he also should be suspended for any up coming tournament and/or get a sanction like I mentioned before,if he does this again out for the rest of the year
Zverev has anger management issues and needs to go to someone to address this problem ASAP

Does anyone still have doubt about his ex-girlfriend's accusation of domestic violence? That was really psycho behaviour. Imagine if there weren't other people around.

Novak really could roll out of bed and win a tournament. If you look at his losses at the grand slams, Everyone really played ultra aggressively at him. If you play passive, he will defeat you with a quickness. Look at the times Federer, Thiem and Nadal had match points or two set leads vs him. Its the only way.
