The more Talented and better looking player won Sinner Congratulations on destroying Alcaraz for 2nd straight time.

Sinner owned Alcaraz on different surfaces.

Alcaraz has failed to match Nadal 05 Season unfortunately.

Brilliant performance. Hits the ball so fast and flat like a lazer. His easy power reminds me a lot of Berdych actually and he even looks somewhat like him!
Like a tall lanky MLB pitcher who you think the wind would topple over but who can can hurl a 100+ fastball.

The important thing is that Overrated brat Alcaraz lost great result for tennis.
Bit of an overreach there. I think Alcaraz’s results versus Sinner’s results speak for themselves this year. Has Alcaraz disappointed since his spring tear sure, but still I’m sure Sinner would rather have Alcaraz’s results over his own this year.

Sinner better looking and more Talented overall compared to baby Nadal.

Haha I was sure he would. Thought it might be a 3 setter though. Wasn't expecting such a 1 sided scoreline.
This has been a remarkable boring summer IMO for tennis(men and women). I know I am bias because of Nadal but players like CA and TiaFoe had an opportunity to natch of some non Big 3 titles but not achieved.

Good to see Kyle Edmund having his first ATP win since the US Open in 2020, at the Citi Open.Kyle has had 3 knee surgeries which has kept him out of the tour.

We always here the season is too long etc, but it feels like every summer is the off season, after Wimbledon we get a month of small 250,500 events. Hopefully it will be more interesting in Canada next week!

Tiafoe is all talk, even his reference of “an opening” is couched in terms of the big 2 not playing a particular week:

OMG, I left during the 12th game to check out "PTI" on ESPN! I was gone for almost 10 min. & it's still just 3-2 to Murray in the TB? Did they have a rain delay I missed? These freakin' games and sets just drag on forever! The athleticism displayed isn't going to be appreciated if 1st round matches like this can go on interminably! People point at 5:53 "down under," but I personally think 2011 USO was the worst final w/ sets that literally went on for over an hour & 1/2! Murray's allowing Ymer to run him to death in this 1st set; TB @ 6 All! UPDATE: Ymer 10-8! :fearful-face::yawningface::facepalm:

Kei Nishikori has returned his wild card to the Winston-Salem Open as he works to return to match action from injury
( the tournamnet will reissue the wild card in the coming days).

Unbelievable! Murray's going to gut this out; hobbling around, bent over, & getting time warnings! WHY? At his age, it's only going to hurt him! What does he think; the kid could have a heart attack and default to him? Stranger things have happened of course! :astonished-face: :shushing-face::face-with-hand-over-mouth::fearful-face::yawningface:

Probably the best analysis of both Alcaraz's and Sinner's games right now. Just watch from the 30 minute mark until the end. This is how I describe their games too.

Rafanoy,

You said you thought Alcaraz serve was better than Sinner's though Gil Gros does not agree with you, I have to agree with Gil, Sinners' game against Alcaraz was the best match he played, so far this year ,at Wimbledon, a surface Sinner has not done well on, I dont know if you watched it, if you can watch it I suggest you do.Agree with Sinner's running fhand as well, it has been outstanding.
Darren Cahill has said Sinner, needs to work on his serve, also his transition game to the net more, which I have already stated, he needs to get more physical strength, he can win GS slams, in the coming years, as he is a hard worker and has a strong work ethic.
