At this point of their careers, Alcaraz has accomplished more than Sinner, so it easier to talk about Alcaraz than Sinner. But, even before Alcaraz’s rise superstar status, I got interested at Sinner’s career. There’s something about him that is fascinating, not just his game but his demeanor on the court.
I have always admired Sinner's composure on court, for such a young player, he seems unflappable, which holds well for him in the future.

Finally after many MPs J. Booksby d F.Tiafoe in the 2nd s/final in Atlanta 61 64.

Booksby will play Alex de Minaur in the singles final tomorrow in Atlanta, hopefully the weather will stay dry.

Alcaraz just has a higher ceiling than Sinner plus he is more athletic than Sinner. But Clay will give Sinner a better chance to beat Alcaraz than on HC.
Imo Sinner is a better returner than Alcaraz. His return of serve at Wimbledon was unreal given he'd never won a match on grass till this year and just kept getting better and better match by match. If Djokovic hadn't gone for his usual shit break and magic bottle when losing, Sinner would likely have won.

My predictions today for the men's finals are De Minaur 2-1 and Sinner 2-1 although Sinner has never beaten a top 5 player so it's quite speculative. Based more on Alcaraz' inconsistency recently than anything else. Whoever wins, it's likely to be a 3 setter I reckon for both finals.

Actually, changing my mind and going with under 22.5 games for Sinner v Alcaraz and leave the winner up to chance.

Jannik played a disappointing t/break, Alcaraz wins the 1st set 76 (5), though Sinner did come back from 5-1 down to 5-6, still a bit too late.

So ok, my first prediction was clearly the better one as it was my own! Damn it. After reading tons of sites claiming to have number crunched the prediction being under 22.5 games I revised my bet to under 22.5 games and my own guess was right. Typical.

If this turns out Sinner 2-1 I'll be super pissed. I mean for my bet obviously which I changed. It's actually the outcome I'd prefer without any bets involved. No offense to Alcaraz.

Here we go! Sinner & Alcaraz warming up in UMAG! I didn't see it, but heard Carlos' ankle rolled yesterday! How competitive will he be if pushed? ;-)
Don't think it caused even 0.01% of a difference here tbh.

Really looking like I messed up not going with my original choice of Sinner 2-1. Note to self, trust your own judgement and not reviewing tons of sites claiming to have number crunched the data.

There is nothing wrong with Alzaraz's ankle by the way, he had 8 BPs in the 2nd set and failed to convert any of them

You still think so after dropping 10 of the last 11 games? Sinner's on a roll! Very impressive! Carlos needed an ego deflate! :shushing-face::yawningface::face-with-hand-over-mouth::face-with-tears-of-joy:
Yeah just totally outplayed. Movement looks 100% fine. My original pick of Sinner 2-1 from this morning was based on Alcaraz being inconsistent a lot recently. Completely outplayed last 2 sets.
