It's 2019 and you guys are still replying to Nadal goat/Nadalfan2013 type accounts.

Well Yea of course it's me I see Federer losing from a mile away, it's ok if he stays in the game Federer can win Wimbledon next year and I'm a Nadal fan saying that. You know Federer would have got destroyed in the final against Nadal.

You probably thought the same at Wimbledon when they played but didn't look too clever after that.

I can't lie that looked bad for me, too bad Nadal won slams this year and Federer has not which is cool beating nadal got Federer noting.

Congrats to Grigor, he took his chances. Don’t see that coming.
I’m sorry for the Fed Fans, was really looking forward to a Fedal final. Sadly we probably will never see the two at the Open.
Now we will not even see a competitive final, no one left to challenge Nadal.

Something is just not meant to be, Fed was simply unwell physically...when it’s expected that he would again run over his punchbag. Even Medvedev doesn’t match up well against him, so Fedal final should’ve been finally on.

He has only himself to blame for not beating Djokovic. I'm trying to be civil here but you're just being a twat for nothing.

All dulltards and fakertards are like these. They hate Fed, basically they're all haters of talented players. Most of these dulltards are women who are just sexually attracted to his muscles. They don't give two hoots about the actual tennis itself. The rest are butthurt Petetards who are still bitter that Fed is head and shoulder above Pete.

That's why tennis will be truly dead if either faker or dull surpass Fed's records. Not that this sport is already 3/4th in the sewer.

Jesus Christ Fed fans' melancholy has been insaaaaaaaaaane this year. If this board wasn't mainly Federer-dominated they would be called out far more, but this is ridiculous.

Day 8 and 9 Summaries

Couple of important days at the US Open

· Roger Federer bowed out of the tournament after a close five set encounter to “Baby Fed” Dimitrov. Therefore, we will see a new Grand Slam finalist in this year’s US Open.

· Dimitrov will meet Medvedev who disposed Stan in four sets. The tall Russian is having an excellent couple of months in North America and now has a 19-2 record since Washington and is the favorite to reach the maiden US Open final over Dimitrov.

· In the bottom half Monfils will start his quarterfinal as the favorite against Berrettini.

· Nadal will be against a spirited Schwartzman. Nadal is the clear favorite to win the title now after Roger and Novak are gone and is the only grand slam winner remaining in the hunt. If he plays the way he did against Cilic in the last couple of sets it will be very difficult to stop him from winning his 19th Grand Slam title.

Congratulations to Grigor on the win last evening. Did Roger lose the match last evening sure he did as he was not his usual self, but that does not take away anything from the play of Grigor last night. Sure Grigor had his moments where he seemed like he wanted to choke this match away as well, but he also had moments of brilliant play as well. In the end Grigor did what he had to do to get the job done and he should be congratulated for his efforts.

People have to understand that Nadal would have had the slam record a long time ago if he wasn’t injured 100 times in his career. So it’s only fair that Djokovic and Federer have now struggled a little bit by having 10% of Nadal’s career injuries while Nadal is healthy and fufilling his true potential, especially because of how their two fanbases have laughed at Nadal’s injuries year after year. Nadal will end up being the undisputed GOAT and everyone with a little bit of Tennis knowledge knew this along time ago.

No amount of your hurting from Roger's loss excuses this post. It is shameful on several levels. Is there nothing that is really too low for you?

Who started talking trash first? If you're going to talk shit to me you better be able to take a little back. Thought you knew that by now, not my fault he's a sensitive little twat.

congrats to Grigor even if the old guy was injured and should have retired or WO . I never expected to see Grigor in semi, great result for him
very sad for Stan who was sick but happy for Meddi, a young promising guy

Disappointing from Federer. He clearly was unwell. Now the fans of the peasant feel more confident about number 19.

Roger rarely retires. He has class. He allows opponents to get their wins. Not sure how your favorite player would have handled the same situation.
