Personally, I'm pulling for Tsitsipas.

I'm kind of indifferent, both can cause Roger problems if he allows them to. Tsitsipas is mentally tough so it'd be a good challenge for Fed in that regard if they meet.

That was a crazy perfect lob from Perseus, but Bashi holds.

Got it. I respect Bashi, but I really like Tsitsipas. Haven't really got my head in draw implications yet. I think you've got nothing to worry about, because it's looking very much like they'll beat each other into the ground in this match. Roger will likely James Bond his way past Fritz.

We will see. Roger showed some mental fragility last round like we saw in some of the real bad losses last year. The weird thing is he mostly looked pretty damn strong aside from those key moments. If he loses to anyone but Cilic in his quarter it will likely be one of those headcase type matches from last year.

That's my Bond point...shaken, not stirred. I def think it will have to be Cilic or Rafa.

Tsitsipas thought he had won the set, now he is facing a break point. And he loses his serve.

Uh, oh...Stephanos got a time violation loss of serve to give AD to Bash, and he got broken.

It was hard to follow some of that. Umpire on the hot seat.

Now I see: Tsitsipas hit what he thought was an ace, but the umpire over-ruled, and he was out of challenges. Even Martina was confused. Then it went tits-up for the Greek. Kinda bad, it seems.

At the very least, I think this is where the umpire didn't need to give a loss of serve for time violation. Some judgement has to come in, otherwise, why is there an umpire? Tsitsipas is going to feel a bit robbed, fair or not. He's going to have to regroup and hold his head together now.

Maddeningly, TTC will switch to us watching Fed and Fritz warming up. The other two men's matches are so tight and compelling.

OK, here's my point about the rooves. There is rain in the forecast. So they are closing it. Why now? It's not raining. And does that mean it stays closed? I think they have not well-thought all of this out.

Why do some players hit a ball across the net after he end of a game?

Maddening to watch a warm up when Tsi/Bash are locked in TB.

They tried to open it on Laver, and then they closed it again. It appears there was some water on the court, so it may still be drizzling.
