I remember the quote but forget if it was Front, Fberg or even Busted. It was a classic though

I gave up on Dimitrov at slam level after AO this year. He followed up a high level win over Kyrgios with a vintage terrible loss to Edmund in the QF. I'm surprised he won a couple big tourneys last year even if they were ones where Fedal wasn't around in the end.
Has to be Front. Federberg wouldn't go there and Busted, while she can be harsh, not her style. (And for those who think I'm too PC, please remember how funny I thought that was.) What pisses me off is how many times I've given up on Dimitrov, and then tried to give him another chance. And I never cared that much about the f**ker to begin with. Feet in the grass and yet he has "feet of clay." If we haven't retired the moniker "BabyFed" for him yet, it must be done by now. He couldn't wipe Federer's boots.

I'm still hesitant in thinking Stan will do much here. He seems to have trouble playing more than a couple matches in a row. If he keeps in Stanimal mode he could clearly make some noise here and at least reach the QF but I bet young Greek or Isner does him in.
No, he's not likely to do much on grass anyway. But it shows how pathetic Dimi is that he could drop a breadstick on Stan and then get waxed for the remaining sets.

Stan was able to reach the QF at Wimbledon before, so if he plays well, he could still win in a few more rounds.

If you think Stan dropped like a rock, then Andy Murray just plumetted in abys.
He lost almost all his points by withdrawing, he basically will have to start from scratch to rebuild his ranking.

I see Andy in the 800s in live rankings. That's tough, but PR and WCs can get them back up faster than others. It's a question of how healthy he is for the 2nd half of this season.

That is true, but even gealthy, I doubt he will be back at the same level .
The type of surgery will affect his movement, a key past of his game.
Think about Hewitt or Nalbandian, they never were the same after their hip surgeries.

Everyone keeps saying the same. But technologies do improve. I'll give him the next 12 months to make something out of his recovery. I hope he can.

The problem is that it will too long for his age

Insert "be" between will and too.
That's your assumption, and it doesn't explain much. I'll wait to see if Carol cares to elaborate for herself. But since you think that's what she means, do you agree with your assumption?

You got to see his pedigree at Wimbledon. He lost in the first round last two years and his max was reaching second round once. Further, you can look at his GS record overall. He has never gone beyond third round anywhere. Finally, you can take a look at his grass chops. Before Halle, I think he has won only about 2 grass matches in his whole life. That is why, I called the upset.

Great call there. Is Rafa into the quarters a week from today?

It was actually El Dude (El Crude lol) in the Monte Carlo masters thread. Page 14, post #273. We're not worthy! We're not worthy! Classic post it was.

Beside Del Potro, also Lopez and Dzumhur are through in 3 sets.
