Carol has a good point here. Novak has beaten fed twice in a final here. Nadal only once. Novak also has a winning h2h. If you take those stats, you should be more worried about Novak than Nadal. Nadals momentum is grossly exaggerated. He lost all those hc finals even against fed. Yes he had a decent clay run, but not a great one. Just a very good French open. And that's your basis for being worried about Nadal? Heck, as a Djokovic fan I'm not even worried about Nadal.

Yeah, but you should think that Novak has beaten Roger when this one wasn't anymore on his prime and that's why it has not bother so much to his fans
But wait, it seems that you are worry about Nadal too

I saw some parts of the match live and saw the highlights too. I agree Rafa played really well in the first match. But, we need to see as to how he performs against a quality opponent. We need to wait till at least R3 for that.

Yep, and also you need to see how Roger performs against a quality and healthy opponent instead of a player who has retired 5 times in a row

I would suggest prize money yes, points no. There needs to be some incentive to still go out there.
If a player is capable of playing, that's your incentive. If not, why not split the points and money with the lucky loser, and it's better for everyone?

Or else what?... we're going to assume that Roger is just skidding by on luck on the grass? A bit overly-combative, and also a bit apples and orangutans.

I'm not going to assume anything because from now to two weeks more Roger, Nadal, Muzz and Novak have the same probabilities to lose or to reach the finals

Lol yeah sure. Murray is a little gimpy, Nole has played terrible most of the year and Roger and Rafa have been deadly all year. They do not have equal chances of reaching the finals. And if it is something like Fed-Murray in the final it'd be really ugly for the latter.

I didn't even say that Roger played well in the first match in my post and you feel compelled to bring that in. You seem overly hurt even when no insult is intended. I only said that Rafa played well in the first match. Roger's match was too short to draw too much inference from it, even forgetting the quality of his opponent.

I see that you and others have all the confidence about Roger winning but you never know mr. you never know , if I were you I wouldn't sing the victory before time.

It's ridiculous to think that either of the other 3 has a better percentage chance or scenario chance of reaching the final/hefting the trophy than Roger. There are potential banana skins for all, though Roger's one is really just his age, which lowers his chances, statistically. But not practically. The other 3 have a lot more ticks on boxes working against them.

I'm just trying to educate you on probabilities but I'll go out on a limb and say I'd have better luck with the wall.

You're getting back to playground mode. How is it that you think that Federer doesn't have a greater probability of winning Wimbledon than, say, for example, Rafael Nadal?

I don't say that he doesn't have more probabilities than Rafa and the the others, of course he has been preparing for it after the HC season, he has won 7 Wimbledon too but right now I wouldn't put my money on him just in case I'd lose it
