Definitely he deserves credit. It was a phenomenal tiebreak and early part of the 2nd and he seized total control because of it. Aside from that though he has been fairly average and Roger hasn't made him pay.

This might be the final curtain on Roger's credentials to win a slam. Things won't be easier next year... and this is Roger's last stop (Wimbledon) as a major winning contender I think. Unless there is a huge turnaround here... Roger signs off with 17 majors and the remainder of the career (can't see him playing beyond 2017) is a procession to retirement.

I've thought he was done winning majors since the terrible Wimbledon final last year. But the man's been full of surprises for much of his career. I didn't see any of the first four matches but I was surprised to see him win with such ease. Losing warmups to Zverev and Thiem was telling.
