Wonder will Tommy Haas and Radek Stepanek get wild cards. Hope so.
I think Haas is using his protected ranking, so he will be in the Main Draw. Stepanek definitely didn't get a wild card, but I don't know if he can use a protected ranking too or has to qualify...

Radek has not entered in the qualifying draw.

Not so fast, other players have trained prior to a grand slam but pulled out at the last hour, I doubt he will play, he knows he will not be able to maintain a healthy shoulder for the next two weeks, IMO. If he pulls what he did a few months ago, Fronty and his cohorts will Whine like the petulant posters they are. I guarantee it.

With Kohlschreiber and Isner, at least those matches won't require too much energy spent, as compared to playing a Monfils. If top seeds don't falter, QF Berdych, SF Stan/Murray, and then possibly Djokovic F is not great though.

Ooooooh god this draw. You CANNOT BE SERIOUS!

Relax, you are acting like J Mac is in the draw! ;)

Haha, I thought it would be funny. Although we are very lucky that the USO is on hards and not on grass, because some players will definitely make "chalk fly up" this year. And I don't mean it in a good way. :dodgy:

I do not think the projected quarters will pan out. Most likely "upset" could be Gasquet taking Bird out in the 4th.

Yeah, Rafa also has Raonic en route to quarters not to mention Feli.

Kei has just about the cushiest draw he could possibly have gotten. He has a great opportunity to at least make the semis, but will he take advantage?

Haas may take out Milos and Fish has a good chance to take out Feli

Rafa's first round is interesting. And he has the delicious one down the road.
Murray has Kyrgios to open as well.

Entertaining draw, rafa - coric should be a good one. Important match for coric. Altho nole nishi would be my preferred final, I'm happy novak avoids Murray in the semis.

Haas is 80 years old, milos should be fine. I'll be supporting fish on his goodbye event.

Novak gets to avoid all of the scariest players till the final which is nice. Let Stan, Andy, and Rog. duke it out for a couple rounds.

Not what I was hoping for with Fed. Turns out the #2 seed didn't matter much as I'd actually prefer Murray's route considering Kyrgios is probably checked out mentally for now. Fed should be fine until the 4th round and then he gets either Isner or Karlovic. On top of being dangerous that also hurts any kind of rhythm and if Berd gets there Roger will need to be in decent form. On the flip side if Rafa and Kei flame out Djokovic has an absolute breeze to the final. Even with them in the way he is a strong favorite of course.

Don't put my name as the first to go on about Ferrer pulling out to help his buddies. I never started any of that shite before if you go back and read the thread that was in. And for the record, Nadal fans whine much more than other fanbases but I'll cut you some slack there. There's much to lament lol.
