Did Kyrgios smash a racquet? I just heard the commentators say that racquet wouldn't live another day. I was typing up a post.

Smash seems a bit a strong word but he "heavily dropped" the racquet and broke it. Code Violation. Ramos didn't call it - could have been controversial if Nick had won the set.

I don't have Hewitt commentating. I've got Mats Wilander and his partner (can't remember his name). But I mean, of course it's on Andy's racquet.

Murray is so dominant in this match, he looks like Nick can't get to him. Nick is still rough around the edges and he likes the big stage, but the composure and maybe the discipline to stay with Andy is lacking...

Ya know, I'm no Nadal fan. But when I see someone like Kyrgios whose first reaction is to smash the racquet, even if he catches himself, I'm so thankful for Toni Nadal saying whatever he did to keep Rafa from doing that. Just so much more classy. And professional. Yes Kyrgios is still basically a child. But.... I mean, it's time to grow up. Your racquet is your weapon of choice. Respect it. Yes, everyone accept Nadal does it. And sometimes you just are disgusted and can't control yourself suddenly. But Kyrgios is ready to smash it every other game.
