Murray really playing some wonderful tennis. Just really beautiful. Smart. Breaking Kyrgios down. Commentators actually talking about that. Calling it brilliant at times and I was thinking the same thing. Just looks really good. Serving well. Moving his second serve around to hide the lack of speed. Kyrgios looks out of his league AND he looks like he knows it. But... he holds for 2-1 second set.

Just throwing in all sorts of looks for Kyrgios to deal with. Changing up the pace so well. I'm not a fan of his, so I don't watch him enough. But every time I do watch him, I regret not watching him more. I just forget how good he is. Just so stinking smart. But Kyrgios seems to playing a bit better. Dealing with Murray's tactics a bit better.

Oh! Awesome topspin lob from Murray. 4-all in the tiebreak. That lob was perfect. Kyrgios just watched it go by in all it's glory.

More importantly, it was on the back of a lost point on his own serve for Murray. One that Kyrgios went crazy over. So Murray responded with a similar reaction to his lob. And it was well deserved. Sapped the joy right out Kyrgios. He's got set point now as I write this. Annnnd Kyrgios goes racquet smashing.

Did Kyrgios smash a racquet? I just heard the commentators say that racquet wouldn't live another day. I was typing up a post.
