Novak look rested and keen, but Kei was a shadow of a top player. I wonder what 2016 will bring for the lad. Maybe a struggle with fitness, but also he seems as a player to have stepped backwards from last year...

You are correct brother, Kei didn't have that extra gear to pull the trigger when needed in those earlier rallies, I think his back is still a bit bothersome. Djoker did his thang, Did what he had to do, Federer will be ready.

He might have stepped backwards from last year, but at least he managed to make it to London. Look at other fellows such as Milos and Grigor. They did not step back, they ran back like a sprinter.
It is all relative.

Bryans continue their bad year. Even Boppanna & co beats them in straight sets.

Wow, not sure if Djokovic played well or if Nishikori is just here for the festivities. That is a bad score for him. Looks like this Fed-Berd match will decide who moves up with Djokovic to the semifinals.

Bit of both. You can be pretty much assured Djokovic will play well in every tournament but Nishikori's serving has long since been a big issue for him and the court plays totally into Djokovic's hands as he can run everything down. Way too slow for Nishikori's offensive game as it's near impossible to hit winners. Really sick of these awful, slow courts.

Very happy for Mergea and Bopanna. Rooting for both Romanians in doubles, Tecau and Mergea with their partners.
They suck badly in singles right now, at least these two are carrying the flag high.

Good fight by Berdych but Federer takes the first set. Fed needs to keep winning in straights to get through this week.

If Berdych doesn't improve his serve he is going to lose easily

Watching Roger hitting against Berdych, he still looks like the #2 player in the world. Were he to meet Murray in the semis? If Andy hasn't gone running off to clay court practice before then, Fed will send him along, quickly.
