I really, really detest the easy use of the word "choke", and barring a rare November hurricane, Murray was always on the cards to win, but lawks, Ferrer sure has learned the art of the business end of the set choke

I only got to see last couple games of Nole match against Kei yesterday! Did they ever replay it at all? They're using it as filler now until the night match with Stan and Rafa! Started in progress at the last game of the 1st set! What a beating; 1 & 1! Never thought Kei would end up being the "tomato can" of the group being kicked around, but it very well might be the case with Roger and Nole being the beneficiaries! Poor Michael Chang had to sit there and watch "his charge" totally overwhelmed! ;-)

I give little Ferrer a pass because he's always punching above his weight. There's worse chokers out there, fellas with big games, who can't hold it together. Berdych and Tsonga come to mind in this regard, more than Daveed...

Morning to everyone on the wrong side of the planet. I see Murray and Ferrer pretty much did a repeat of their match from a couple weeks ago. Did anyone see the match? Still wondering how much Murray is going to exert himself during this tournament with the Davis Cup coming up.

And now for the main event of the evening! Go Stan!

Rafa looks like your boss when the auditors are due: busy, bossy and bam!

Rafa takes the first set 6-3! Have to say I'm impressed. Maybe we'll get a Rafa-Fed semifinal.

Stan makes a struggulous hold. Struggulous...is that a word? Sounds good anyways. Matches often turn around after a hold like that.

Stan is so passive and nonchalant out there today. Looks like he doesn't even care.

Pretty pathetic by Stan here. Both guys are hitting the ball so timidly. There's no wind you gimps ffs! Hit it harder.

Last error by Stan is probably in Spain by now!
