I am very familiar with Aristotle because he pretty much founded the bases of what I believe.
That is almost entirely laughable. Have you ever read the Nicomachean Ethics? Aristotle defines man in a completely anti-Randian fashion. I always find it funny when objectivists think they are Aristotleans. It is truly one of the dumbest intellectual beliefs in the world.
One of the most comical books I have ever read was called "The Ayn Rand Cult". The fun facts about the eccentricities and silliness of Rand and her closest admirers show what a farce her and her "philosophy" are.

He had some left over Platonism here and there but he can be excused for that . I am not sure if YOU understand Aristotle though.
The Nicomachean Ethics, the Politics, and De Anima all include teachings and insights that completely contradict your worldview, both in terms of Rand's idiotic political statements as well as the anti-religious platitudes you repeat.

Aristotla is against the supernaturalism of Plato.
Go read De Anima. This statement simply makes me wince.

Aristotle's world is not full of Platonic abstractions, and it is not controlled by divine entities but reason and logic. He believed knowledge must be based on objectively defined concepts.
Which makes it pretty amusing that he was de rigueur among the educated in the Catholic Middle Ages and that his foremost student in history was Thomas Aquinas, doesn't it?
The Scholastics were all Aristotleans.

Early objectivism you could say. Aristotle is the first John Galt.
This is the kind of statement that makes me chuckle at modern education.

You should read him more and understand him better, and minus the few Platonic residues.
You need to read the Nicomachean Ethics, the Politics, and De Anima. If you make serious study of it, you will come away believing that Ayn Rand was a fool about human nature.
