I agree. Everything they do is about concentration, IMO. And the commentators may make too much of the win, because Davis is a US player, but she did hold her composure. I thought Azarenka would take it to 3 on 1 leg, just out of sheer cussedness.

Vika where is your mind? Not only were you playing hurt, but you were racket throwing at your own poor play! Of course, you are going to play poorly injured. And no offense to Davis nor her fans, but it was disgusting how the commentators went on and on about her "big win". And the crowd is so hungry for any American win they were even delighted with the out come! Davis won nothing at all actually. Vika gift wrapped that Match, put a great big bow on it, and gave it to her.

If it also drives her opponents crazy it's obviously the smart thing to do though.

Julia has looked bad lately, she couldn't get out of the second round in Mexico.

You cant find an empty seat on the stand at court #4 where Ana plays while most of center court stand is empty in the Chinese match. Thats what I call voting with your feet
3-3 1st set and Svitolina is a tough nut to crack for Ana, just as I predicted on another post
Simona had to fight hard to beat Svitolina in the fed cup.

Elina is a hard baseline hitter, same as Annika Beck but a bit better. Both are very solid and cause problems to players like Ana who have less power in their shoots.
