Slammin Sammy served very well and takes out Franny 6-2 6-3

I thought that one would be closer, and I was kinda hoping for Franny, but happy for Sam.

Alexsandra Wozniak was down 3-5 and facing two set points against her, against Sabine and came back like a hurricane and won the set 7-5!

I love Lisa Leslie, but can someone explain why she's at the TC desk w/ Gimelstop? These aren't the WNBA finals.

3 DFs by Sharapova in her opening service game lol. Absolutely painful viewing and I've had enough already.

Um yes.....:clap
She looks great and is well-spoken, but the connection is baffling. Last week they were trying to introduce her as someone who loves to play and watch tennis and her kids are playing as well???
Wouldn't a lot of people thus qualify for commentary as a result;)
I would much much rather hear her take on ESPN with the upcoming bracketology for March Madness and those games.

Julia looks really delicate out there and is being bullied by Maria. Did you guys see the set 1 stats for Maria, 5 double faults, 50% first serve and she's still dominating. Won't work against someone with a cleaner game.

Sabine/Alek in a dogfight decider 4-4.
ToFlo giving Kerbie a run for her $$. 2-2 in the decider

EDIT: Both Boom Boom and Kerbie go down to lower seeds in 3 sets. Great job by Alek and ToFlo

...Julia has looked fairly impressive so far, and with that all around power game, she may just give Maria a stern test. Call me Ruby Tuesday on this but I am going with Julia in an upset.
Julia has looked bad lately, she couldn't get out of the second round in Mexico.
Masha is 3-0 against Julia.
Bold pick there rubydo!

Masha will be tested though!
I stepped out of my comfort zone on this one Kiu, have to now and again, life would be boring otherwise!:)
Friday night bravery after a cocktail?
Been there done that!

Maria Teresa Torro Flor just took down Angelika Kerber. I've never even heard of the girl, and I pay attention to the Spaniards. Wow.

Nope GG. She was outplayed by a crafty Spaniard who took it to her on the big points especially.

Alex comes through with her best win, since returning from a long injury spell, 7-5,1-6, 7-6(5) taking out #15 seed Sabine Lisicki! Makes the day very palatable now. Germans take a whipping in todays 2nd round.

Those stats will not work against Giorgi.

Camila is much more error prone than Masha, especially against a hard hitter.Same as Julia...

Didn't Camilla have some scalps recently...I was thinking she might ride in on her confidence wave and take it to Maria. At this rate, anything can happen
