Yes that's correct, a coach can't challenge the previous play after another one is run, let alone the refs taking away a first down after another play is run. It was quite dumbfounding.

The officiating has been cursory at best since the beginning of the 2012 season when they used the replacements refs.. I am tired of whining about the Refs

Tonight.. even a tie would be great.. We need to catch the Seahawks but need to stay close to the Saints as well. The feeling out here in the Bay area is that the Niners players feeling are that they outplayed the Saints and they feel that they got robbed. They know they can beat the Saints.

There is no prayer to catch the Seahawks at this point. And New Orleans will either be a wild card or the #2 seed. This game doesn't hold much meaning to SF it seems but I'm sure they rather see Seattle lose and start to drop some momentum.

Not so fast Darth.. Seattle have these games remaining, Saints, Niners, Giants, Cardinals, and the Rams.. four of the teams are playing for a playoff spot.. If they loose 3, they are tied with the Niners if the Niners run the table.

Cardinals and Rams at home and the Giants are awful. I'd also imagine that San Fran will lose the tiebreak unless Seattle somehow loses to Rams or Cardinals at home as they beat Carolina.

No one is beating Seattle on the road this year, history reads that they didn't lose at home last year either and now they are a year better

The only man capable won't be participating in the playoffs this year. I hate the Seahawks all because of 1 game and the cowardly way they acted after receiving that gift, but as a betting man I think they're winning it all this year. Playing the Super Bowl in crappy conditions in New York will help. I don't think New England is beating them and Denver is definitely not unless the conditions are decent.

They are not invinceable and the Niners arent afraid of them , I just dont have much confidence in Jim H. He handles the Ferrari (49ers) like he is driving a volkswagon.

Kaep has to show he can deal with that defense. I know he has only played them twice but he has looked lost to say the least. Next week is a bigger deal for San Fran than Seattle so it will be interesting to see how it goes.

Onto Week 14:

Houston @ Jacksonville - Jacksonville. They seemed to have turned things around a bit and Houston is terrible.

Indy @ Cincy - Cincy
Atlanta @ Green Bay - It seems that Rodgers is unlikely to play. Which means Atlanta wins, if he does play that means GB wins. So it's more or less picking the likelihood he plays. I think he is probably not playing so I pick Atlanta.

Cleveland @ New England - New England
Oakland @ New York Jets - Oakland
Detroit @ Philadelphia - Philly
Miami @ Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh
Buffalo @ Tampa Bay - Tampa
Kansas City @ Washington - Kansas City
Minnesota @ Baltimore - Baltimore
Tennessee @ Denver - Denver
St. Louis @ Arizona - Arizona
New York Giants @ San Diego - San Diego
Seattle @ San Fran - Game of the week and huge for San Fran's confidence/psyche. I think San Fran takes a close one.

Carolina @ New Orleans - This is also close to being game of the week. New Orleans is a whole different animal in that dome but San Fran really slowed them down a lot. I still think New Orleans wins but this should be a good one.

Dallas @ Chicago - Another good one and tough to call. I think Chicago wins.

Actually it doesn't matter at all as Detroit has the tiebreak over Chicago and Green Bay.

Detroit may loose to the Ravens and the pack may run the table if they bring back Arod

Yes the result yesterday does give a lot of hope. Rodgers has to come back this week because they have no prayer at Dallas without him. With a likely rusty Rodgers it'd be close to a tossup.

It's hard to even get excited about them making the playoffs because they would be facing Carolina or San Fran to start and then at Seattle or New Orleans. No one is running the New Orleans and Seattle gauntlet and New Orleans has no prayer in Seattle. Right now I think Seattle is the overwhelming favorite in the NFC. If Rodgers had stayed healthy the Pack would be 10-3 at worst right now with a good chance at the #2 seed.
