Yea it was an equalizer in GB though there wasn't too much snow. The -1 wind chill certainly helped against Atlanta. The Philly-Detroit game looked crazy, I don't remember seeing one with that much snow before. The two teams combined to attempt one extra point on 8 td's and it was missed. That's just crazy.

I think that if the Bears win tonight.. that may knock out the Cowboys and I still thik if Arod is back that he can beat Da Bears..Is this a possibility

If A Rod is back he will beat the Bears, the only one I'd worry about with Rodgers back is Dallas. GB needs to win out and have Detroit lose to Baltimore. Even with as wacky as Detroit is I don't see them losing to the G-Men at home or at Minnesota.

That game tonight is very even and it is huge for both teams. The Bears are done if they lose but Dallas would still be alive, they still play the Eagles at home the last week.

The Bears will be inspired tonight.. They are retiring Ditka's jersey tonight.

As for the 49ers vs Seahawks yesterday at the Stick.. I wasnt too encouraged by Jim's conservative play calling and Colin's play. The 49ers left wait too many points on the board and tey are absolutely pathetic in the Red Zone.

Yeah Kaep has not impressed at all this year and he is my fantasy football QB so it's been frustrating. They aren't winning in Seattle though they might have the best chance in the NFC.

Dont count the 49ers out..My thoughts before going into the game vs the Saints that Carolina and the 49ersw are the only two team that can go up there to that mad arena in Seattle to defeat those rough characters. The 49ers are healthy and at full strength , as I told you before they dont like the Seahawks and aren't afraid of them regardless where they play.

It's good to have faith in your team and you accused me of having too much in mine earlier in the year and I don't necessarily disagree. From my point of view the Niners have better receivers, tight end and O-line but I'll take everything else on Seattle. And the homefield is huge. I will root for San Fran and whoever plays Seattle except for New England if that's the Super Bowl.

Cutler is done here. The team is making nice waves w/ the press by saying he's our QB, but his run is over. They will ditch him at the end of the season like they ditched Lovie last year. Mark my words...

Anyway, how about them Denver Bears. :laydownlaughing The Bears not kicking a punt. Must be some alternate reality.:spacecadet:

I wouldn't be surprised if they keep him around if they get a reasonable price. McCown is a backup on a very good run, I don't think he is your long-term solution at qb. Those receivers are what stir that drink now anyways. Jeffery is turning into a star and Marshall is a top 5 WR. It'd be interesting if it is GB-Chicago for the division title in a few weeks, high scoring game for sure. All that assumes Godgers is blessing my team with his return starting next week...pretty please :please:

I don't McCown is a long term solution either. But Jay is done here. The pool of available QB's in free agency will be pretty big in the off-season.

What big names are available? I can't think of any off the top of my head. Rivers maybe?

Jay will be back unless his asking price is too High because da Bears organization doesnt have the big $ like Dallas or New England.. Darth Fed is correct.. there isnt any other big name QBs out there available. Brandon Marshall is the biggest Jay Cutler supporter and either isnt going anywhere soon. They should have kept Urlacher for another year.. They could use him noe to sure up they run defense.

Ironically I did average in the work pool since I put a lot of points on Atlanta (didn't realize the forecast), Pittsburgh (stupid call to put a lot on that as the game figured to be tight) and Oakland (another dumb call with Jennings out with a concussion).

My bets in the weekend were superb though, picked Jacksonville straight up, parlayed the Eagles and Bucs to cover, picked New Orleans and Chicago to cover, and picked Atlanta to cover. The only one I missed was picking Atlanta straight up. I bet Auburn and FSU too! If only I was always this accurate. I'd be a millionaire in no time

I didn't say big names, I said the pool of available QB's would be big. I can think of 3 or 4 right away:
Freeman
Vick
Anderson
Henne

Although, not a free agent I don't think Schuab will be back in Houston and he would be available.

FYI AP: Lovie was beloved to all the players and it didn't help his chances of staying.

So you are telling me that you are the type of guy if you go to Vegas.. its not for the shows and the loose women but you go there to place your bets at the Vegas odds sporting betting venue:cool:

A big pool of garbage is worse than a small pool of sharks. If they are letting Jay go they are probably planning on keeping McCown which would be a dumb move IMO.

I am good at betting the NFL, so if I venture to Vegas (a dangerous move for one of my kind) then maybe I will spend the sports winnings on the loose women, and then some :laydownlaughing

Of course I'd probably blow a crap load on blackjack. My weakness.

I have learned my good friend to stay away from Vegas playing blackjack.. take a trip down to Chitown and go to the Rivers Casino, the odds at blackjack is better than most places. however I have done well at the Potawatomi casino in Milwaukee if you stay away from the "bad" blackjack players jumping in and out
