Elina Svitolina is organizing a tournament for Ukrainian kids in Kyiv ( source Tennis Letter)

" It wasnt easy. Many courts have been destroyed and we have to find one with a bomb shelter. We just want to bring a small light for these kids. Many have lost family and friends and have been though so much".
Svitolina's heart is in the right place.

Yes it is, it must be heart breaking to see her homeland being bombed, also any money she receives from her wins on the tour she is donating to the Ukraine Childrens Fund.
Her heart is in the right place. I still don't agree w/ some of her practices. Mainly the no hand shake thing and this constant need to carry the entire country on her shoulders while trying to obliterate any opponent of Russian descent.

I think at times, the constant need to carry the entire country on her shoulders, back fires in tournaments, eg, Wimbledon this year, where she had a good run, mentally she came undone,in the match against Vondrousova,

I don’t know, I honestly think if a bully neighbour invaded Ireland I’d be less polite than her..

Ons Jabeur has withdrawn from Montreal, trying to find out if it is a injury concern.
This should, once and for all, debunk the myth that Jabeur's performance in the final was a mental issue. Think about it, if there was something wrong with Jabeur mentally, then how in the world did she beat Kvitova, Rybakina, and Sabalenka in a back-to-back-to-back?

I think the problem is more about fitness. Jabeur, in my honest opinion, looks a little chunky. I think she may need to lose some weight to become more fit and decrease her chance of injury.

@MargaretMcAleer and @kskate2 MM , Keli your eyes would know better than mine. Jabeur has lost a lot of weight since a few years ago..she just doesn't have the IG model body type ..is that correct? I think it's more mental with Ons than her physical fitness although she has experienced some nagging injuries the past 6 months if I recall correctly

Jabeur has a figure that looks chunky, that is her build, injuries this year have caught up with her quite frankly, also to me she needs to see a sports physio after her flat performance again at Wimbledon this year in the final

I tend to agree with you, Ons has always had a solid build, she has had a lot of injuries this year, quite frankly she needs to see a sports physio after her flat performance again in the final at Wimbledon.

I read an article from Max Eisenbud IMG agent and former agent to Li Na and Maria Sharapova,
Max was talking about Emma Raducanu,
I was still surprised when he said Emma and her father have always changed coaches after 5-6 months and that was likely to continue?
Quite frankly it is like a revolving door with Emma and her coaches, I just dont see the sense in it at all.
Max was asked if coaches could be wary of working with Emma, given such shots stints, he said that was a possibility
Max also said there were plenty of offers on the table for Emma? well seeing she has been injured for most of the year, and her ranking has slipped backwards, you would think sponsors would be looking at her ranking and results for starters? I also found that very surprising.

Maybe. But I don't think you would treat all the inhabitants like the plague and it's their fault. They didn't ask to be born there anymore than she did in her country.
