Encouraging message from Bianca Andresscu, who had MTO in her match yesterday against Shelby Rogers.Bianca said she did feel some discomfort in her lower back, she is now on her way to the Toronto tournament, rest a bit and get ready to play next week.

In the Citi Open,
A.Kalinskava gets a walkover to the next round 75 2-0 as No 3 seed Simona Halep retires ( heat related, trying to find out more info)
WTA now saying she retired due to illness, though did not expand as what type of illness it was.

Taylor should think about being a doubles specialist. Her singles career is not going anywhere and it's sad to see her struggling.

And she breaks Paula at 3-3 and then again at 5-5 and can't serve out the match. Loses it in a TB. This girl hadn't even practiced w/ top 100 players before this week and now she's won several matches. Despite this win, Paula is experiencing her sophomore slump. Maybe she will get things back on track in the fall or at the YEC

Dude probably left skid marks from his car tires getting away from her. I know she is another "headache". Life is too short!

Emma was serving for it after breaking for 5-4. Two x DFs and got broken back. She got it done in the end, but shaky on the initial close. Osorio was very good. I don't know her game that well.

Sabalenka is having her DF issues, and now Dolehide (who?) serves for the match in the 3rd.
