Sabalenka s coach knows he is going to be fired.. when in essence she needs to hire a head doctor or two to the team.

This is Beatrrix !st Maiden WTA title and the first Brazailian to win on a WTA title in over 50 years.
Congratulations again to Beatrix Maia and her doubles partner S.Zhang winning the doubles title, defeating M.Niculescu/C.Dolehide 76(2) 63

Congratulations to E.Alexandrova (7) d A.Sabalenka (1) 75 60 to win the Libema Open

The first WTA 500 tournament begins on Monday 13th June in Berlin.
Seven of the Top 15 ranked players are in the tournament.
Jabeur, Sakkari, Sabalenka and Pliskova are the top seeds
Muguruza, Gauff, Bencic and Andreescu also in the draw.

Rothesay Classic Birmingham a WTA250 event in England.
Ostapenko and Halep top the draw.
Former champion Kvitova has taken a wild card
Main draw begins on Monday 13th June.
I am interested to see if Patrick M is still coaching Halep, Halep starts her 1st rd match on Monday 13th June

Monica Puig who won the gold medal 2016 Rio Olympics has announced her retirement, she has been besieged with injuries.
Monica will do tennis commentary in future for ESPN.

I find it interesting how benign Patrick presented his departure with Serena when in fact it was more like an ultimatum.

Yeah, Patrick didn’t want to hang around. I don’t know, there’s something about that bloke, I don’t rate him too high.

Great news about Serena! Her and Roger getting closer to returning to the game, it’s all good news!

Maybe it's a farewell appearance by both of the Williams sisters.

Because she's been so secretive about it, I take it she waited until right before to make her announcement because Patrick has a big mouth.
