Raducanu pulls out of Nottingham after only 7 games with some sort of side injury.
She is always getting injured, as I have said before she needs strengthen her body and train harder in the gym, this is happening to her all the time ,fact she has not won 3 consecutive matches on any surface since she won the USO last year.
BTW it appears she has a abdominal issue, not a good sign for the grass season.Emma is going to get a scan to see if it is on her side or a abdominal injury

Maybe send to the South and get some shrimp grits and cheese in her body as she fills out. Like my Dad told me when I was a senior in high school 6 feet and 135, " Dude you will fill out in a few years.

I really wonder how much of this is physical. I saw the 7 games she played. She went up 3-1 and then gave all the games back.

I will need to watch a replay, though she has just started again with a new coach Jamie Delago, maybe it also 'mental' she is the not the same player is she? we saw went through everyone last year at the USO.

The Player now has the opportunity to request that the B sample is analysed to see if that confirms the A sample.Provisional suspension begins from May 27th.
Tara Moore says she is a clean athlete and will fight to clear her name

It appears that the British press were wrong in their speculation that Emma Raducanu will miss Wimbledon
Her scans showed that Emma suffered a 'side strain' in Nottingham, Emma expects to be fit for Eastbourne and Wimbledon.

Good for Emma, I hope she has a great tournament. She’s young, she’s developing, and she’s dealing with ridiculous amounts of scrutiny and criticism. I’m glad she’s figuring it out her own way…

Emma has a new coach Jamie Delgado, ( former coach of Andy Murray and more recently Denis Shapo). I feel Emma has lost her way since she won the USO last year, she has not won 3 consecutive matches since she has been on tour since then and has retired 3 times.Emma has been through a few coaches, which I feel, does not give her the consistency she needs, I also feel she needs to go to the gym and get strength training.Delgado is an experience coach, also a good fitness coach,so hopefully this new partnership will be a more permanent one.Emma is too talented, we have all seen that, I also think she has been distracted with all these new sponsor deals since she won the USO, she is a tennis player first and foremost she needs to go back to her roots.

No 1 Iga Swiatek is skipping big grass lead up tournament she had entered, meaning she will either go into Wimbledon without match prep on grass, or perhaps take a WC into Eastbourne or Bad Homburg.

I’m not too sure what “her roots” are but what she’s experienced over the last 12 months is extraordinary, and difficult for anyone to process, let alone an inexperienced teenager. I think after the USO, she’d only played about 15 tour matches? Thrown into the cauldron, it’s understandable what’s happening to her now, including injuries. The media in the UK can be particularly savage in rising up then tearing down their stars. It’s a blood sport they enjoy over there.

She needs time and space to process everything, but I’m sure she’ll be fine. It’s not unusual for a youngster to find it all underwhelming. I think she’s doing great. Delgado is experienced but will see if he’s good enough for her long term…

When I mean back to her roots I mean back to being a tennis player, I feel she has been distracted since she won the USO, I agree the British media are stinging, look what they did to poor Andy Murray when he could not win Wimbledon, then when he did he was the 'best thing since slice bread' and is knighted now lol!

These are very understandable things though, aren't they? I can only imagine the crazy turbulence she's experienced since she won the title, no matter what she did after it. And of course, she has to prioritise monetising this opportunity, so she can upgrade her team and try secure her future. I think she'll be fine. The big problem is that her development took a massive jolt, she now has to develop in the full glare of huge expectations, and few in the media will understand this, let alone support her. She hit a streak in New York, but she hasn't shown that this is her true level. To me, it displays her potential but she has to work hard to reach that, and this could take a couple of seasons. And yes, as you say, bulk up a little, be physically stronger. I think she'll get there. She seems mentally to be quite fierce...

I think the media exaggerate Emma's sponsorship deals, Emma mentioned she only spends a few days with sponsors. She is training hard in the gym & practice court. She is just having a few injuries that most young players have. What she did at the Us Open was amazing, but that also gave her a huge target on her back. I think once she gets more used to the tour she will consistently do great. I can & am kinda expecting her to win Wimbledon this year. Similar to Nyc which no one saw that coming, if she is injury free I can see something similar happening at SW19!. The crowd will be electric in her matches. We have all seen how crowds can carry players over the line. Like in football the Wimbledon crowd needs to make centre court a fortress for Emma during her career & good things will happen!!
