As I posted on the ATP site, this has come from a leaked document from the WTA.The Health Minister in Victoria has refuted this and said they are still working out details if 'unvaccinated players' are allowed into Melbourne. If they are allowed to play they will have to go into quarantine for 14 days and will have to be in a 'bubble' and would not get the same benefits as vaccincated players. As I live in Australia I will update as quickly as I can when news comes to hand.

Shelby Rogers will replace Jessica Pegula on the USA BJK Cup team for the upcoming finals in Prague.
Buffalo Bills owner Terry Pegula left the NFL owners meeting after learning his daughters tennis coach, who was at her wedding Friday, has COVID.That makes Pegula a close contact and had to withdraw from BJK Cup.

I would think that may change if the numbers doesn't drop significantly..the holidays are coming and this is flu season, the numbers will increase significantly I would assume but Im not a medical professional..Dr. Margaret..any thoughts..
See my new post at the ATP News....Premier Dan Andrews of Victoria says that non vaccinated players will not be allowed into Melbourne with no exemptions.

It's the proper decision to protect the citizens of Melbourne instead of trying to accommodate someone or tennis players who are unvaccinated.

We are still in a world wide pandemic,it is the decision of any Premier of the state of Australia to do what he/she feels is right to protect its citizens.,who have been urged to get vaccinated not only to protect themselves but others.,as the Premier of Victoria has stated,if the fans are double vaccinated, the people working at the AO have to be double vaccinated,it is a 'double standard' to let any player that is not vaccinated to play at the AO".

Her final match as far as we know has been announced - but she's not saying no to come back when her baby girl has grown a bit older

Playing Kerber is a nice way to say goodbye. She's not going to get blown off the court. From what I understand the two are friends. I just wonder if this is really the end of her career, or will she make a comeback attempt. I see the hashtag "TheFinalOne" but I am just a wee bit skeptical. How do other posters feel about this? I'd be curious.....

On a happier note, I hope tennis fans were able to stream or watch the Fed Cup semifinal singles match between Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and Danielle Collins. Watching the first two sets I could not have predicted a winner, how close it was. The final set Collins held her nerve, and something like 50 winners throughout the match certainly helped. I had to feel bad for Anastasia she really seemed committed to winning the tie for her country. It now comes down to the doubles tie as to who will advance to the final. What a shame the crowd was sparse, but I was happy to watch from my living room.
