Very happy for Ms. Drama Z. She did give it a go last year after her injuries, but I understand how difficult it is to come back after family life takes over (Vika will soon find out).
very happy for Vera, family is everything...Clijsters was lucky to have strong family support.Travelling with a baby is very challenging and then she will have postpartum blues plus a baby daddy...the baby can be colicky...it is not going to be an easy road back for Vika..

After Martina dumping Sania, Sania won two tourneys in consecutive weeks with two different partners (and beating Martina in the final of Cincy). :clap

Bouchard should not have filed a lawsuit. Bad move even if organizers claim she is not being discriminated against in terms of court placement, etc. There are many fans so don't like her, and this gives them more fuel.

At the rate this is going, it won't be anytime soon either. :nono Probably not a good idea to sue your employer unless you plan on making a voluntary career change. :cover

Madison Keys was not allowed by USTA to wear a temporary tattoo of her sponsor in the "sleeve" area. Essentially, she was caught between her primary clothing sponsor (Nike) only allowing other logos to appear on the sleeves, her wearing sleeveless shirts, and the USTA disallowing the temporary tattoo.

My two cents is that this is a good thing- oversaturating the players with ads is a bad look, and doing a temporary tattoo just seems way worse than a patch on a shirt.

Madison Keys doesnt seem to have personality, she is very bland.Laura Robson has personality...the younger generation is not that exciting like the sisters,Hingis,Henin.Dementieva,Myskina and Momo generation etc...thats when tennis had drama , exciting matches and strong personalities.

Sad for Serena. Aging is cruel, especially for athletes. This is how I imagine she will retire, not voluntarily but because of mounting injuries. I hope she will play long enough to win one more major.
