Bouchard might really be injured. However, horrible mechanics like hers need major adjustments which cannot be accomplished while competing. I still wonder why he agreed to coach her. She is not likely to win a major unless the draw opens up a la Bartoli.

Not even if the draw opens up that girl is not winning any majors.

Oracene and her sister Isha always liked to come Downunder...even her agent looked uncomfortable. He speaks to the media without the consent of her agent or Serena...remember him during Wimbledon when he went to the media without speaking with Serena..they gave different views of what happened. He is behaving like he is the star and not Serena...for her to discard Esther who saved her life when she had hematoma is very cold or Sascha who was with her during that difficult time is very sad...just because of a coach .:cry

Most of us guys always felt that Sascha is a bit of a queen.. Yes he was good for Serena but he isnt going to affect mental approach to the game like a golf swing coach can affect a golfer's approach to the game..e.g. Tiger Woods and Butch Harmon
I just hate the celebrity they garnered just being hitting partner or coach. The media kept saying that these two made Serena win all those slams as if she has no brain.Serena is one of those players that have great innate problem solving skills and won before these unknown got on the bus.Sascha was unknown and Serena introduced him to the life of the rich and famous...gave him a name. The media was so desperate to get gossip from Sascha...now he is free to sing like a canary.
I think Sascha lost his job when Serena lost to Halep...maybe there was the blame game being passed around behind closed doors.

Her fhand is woeful,I still can't understand why any of her former coaches havent tried to correct the technique on her fhand quite frankly.

I kind of think the injury is bogus and she's just basically doing an off season to really get some time in with Sam. I hope she's taking it seriously because outside slams she's... one of the worst players in the top 20.

Well Bouchard is becoming a 'serial withdrawer',which dosent look good for her, just my thoughts.

Yeah I agree. She's way too young and healthy to have that reputation. It's not like Petra where we know she suffers from asthma or Venus who is older and suffering from a chronic illness.

That's unfair to call he/she ?.nuts .. the assumptions are fair, eg. Tiger woods ex swing coach and the jackass caddy Steve Williams, Tiger made that clown rich and then he tried to consider himself some sort of a celebrity because he walks around and carrying the golf bag of probably the most famous golfer in history.

I agree with you. It makes no sense because they're assuming they know whats in their head. You look at his face and you assume he believes he's famous. If a coach tries to capitalize off the help they have given to player MORE POWER TO THEM! Marta Karolyi in gymnastics took the US Women's Gymnastics program from not winning a single World Championships or Olympic medal for a full quadrennium and after it has become the most successful gymnastics program since the Soviet Union. She should rightly go down in history for that. Why do you guys constantly assume that Serena Williams is some innocent impressionable girl who can't stand up for herself? You assume she isn't a strong woman who makes her OWN team and decides who stays and who goes on her OWN merits.

it's doesn't matter if it makes sense to either of you two posters besides your post has nothing to do with what Tossip posted about an overglorified hitting partner but your bias against Serena. Riddle me this "Batman" , Can you name me ten hitting partners of any of the top tennis players (male or female), I doubt it and previously post by Tossip should be understood

Sascha seems a tad bitter ...if you read his twitter he seems to be rubbing it in.He should be grateful that Serena plucked him from obscurity....I hope Vika loses early at events so that we dont have to look at him in the stands because he is becoming a bit annoying.

BIAS against Serena? You are absolutely crazy. I am a HUGE fan of Serena. I just happen to think she is a strong, confident, capable woman who does not need to be protected like she is a little girl. She rules over the tennis world and I'm sure she rules her own life and VAST fortune. She doesn't need crazy fans on the internet assuming every decision she makes is the result of manipulative fame hungry men.

It will be really interesting to see the dynamic of Serena vs. Vika matches now. While Serena certainly seems ok with it, I can't imagine that she won't want to send a message period next meeting between the two. It certainly explains the lack of talk and support from Sascha since last year if he was planning to jump ship so to speak. I can see Serena using this as a motivating factor to stay ahead of the game.

Apparently you've missed Serena's tweets to Sasah and Vika.
