Top ranked women's tennis player Serena Williams will need a new hitting partner for the first time in eight years.Sascha Bajin will no longer serve in that position,according to a tweet from Bajin.Bajin was not with Williams during her run at the Australian Open in January,as he was reportedly 'away on injury reserve' with a back injury.Williams went on to capture her sixth Australian Open title and 19th Grand Slam title overall.Bajin's tweet indicates that he may begin working with former World No.1 Victoria Azarenka.Williams has called Bajin the 'most important person' on her team outside of her parents.In Australia,Williams ended up using former pro Jonathan Dasnieres de Veigy,who was a practice partner for Novak Djokovic,during the tournament.

I guess we won't know the real reason why Sascha has decided to become Vika's new hitting partner.
Anway I will watched with interest to see the new hitting partner for Serena,he has big shoes to fill...

Serena had many nice compliments for the French hitting partner during the AO. She loved the fact that he was a lefty and bought some different/new ideas to practice. That said, I did liked the relationship she had with Sascha. They appeared to be really close based on their tweets.

Well Sumyk's wife is still Vika's agent so far? this has become a soap opera tennis style in the making... if I was Vika I would be finding a new agent,conflicting interests I feel,though as a agent for any player one has to be a professional at all times.

I found the reason why Petra Kvitova has withdrawn from Indian Wells.

"I am extremely disappointed to have to withdraw from the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells,one of my favorite tournaments on the calendar.Unfortunately I have been feeling exhausted on the court in recent weeks and unable to compete at 100 per cent.I will therefore be taking some time out in order to rest and restore my energy levels for the rest of the season."

I find this comment a bit worrying seeing it is only March....F.

I agree with you....one thing that is disturbing is Sascha and Patrick want to be bigger than the player.I dont know Roger s hitting partner or any other player s hitting buddy.I think the media wants to diminish the sisters achievements by saying that its the coaching that is making the difference not the players.
I like the way that pova keeps her coaching team in check...they wear uniforms and know their place..that they are not bigger than the player.Patrick now behaves like he is the celebrity and speaks too much for the player,he is forgetting that he is an employee not the employer...
something is not right in Serena s camp her mother or any of her family members were with her in Australia when she won only her American agent who looked uncomfortable itting with Patrick.....she should be leading the team not being led by a coach.:cry

You do realized that Orcene is up in age and may not want to travel 14-17 hours to another continent. She's been there, done that and that goes for her other family member too. You do know her sisters have jobs. So what if she wants to change up her team that is her right. And Patrick does not say anything that Serena does not want him to say. Serena is her own woman and she can do what she wants. Why is it a big deal because she switch up her term? Other players switch up their team almost every 6 months and no one comes out against them, but because it's Serena everyone is coming up with something negative to say. It's not enough that she won the last major of 2014 and the first of 2015.....Christ it seems this girl can do nothing right for her so call fans. Respect her decisions...
