Kvitova out of Indian Wells, Caro will be the #4 seed now!

Wow, what a change in the demographics at IW. Kvitova boycotting IW and Serena playing in it. :lolz:

You do realized that Orcene is up in age and may not want to travel 14-17 hours to another continent. She's been there, done that and that goes for her other family member too. You do know her sisters have jobs. So what if she wants to change up her team that is her right. And Patrick does not say anything that Serena does not want him to say. Serena is her own woman and she can do what she wants. Why is it a big deal because she switch up her term? Other players switch up their team almost every 6 months and no one comes out against them, but because it's Serena everyone is coming up with something negative to say. It's not enough that she won the last major of 2014 and the first of 2015.....Christ it seems this girl can do nothing right for her so call fans. Respect her decisions...
the problem is her coach who seems to forget that Serena is the star not him...he is an employee not the employer.Patrick talks too much with the media,he seems to have a lot of power over Serena and is alienating her friends family and team...

I found the reason why Petra Kvitova has withdrawn from Indian Wells.

"I am extremely disappointed to have to withdraw from the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, one of my favorite tournaments on the calendar.Unfortunately I have been feeling exhausted on the court in recent weeks and unable to compete at 100 per cent.I will therefore be taking some time out in order to rest and restore my energy levels for the rest of the season."

I find this comment a bit worrying seeing it is only March....F.

I kind of think most players should do that go go go kind of tennis before or after a slam. If she knows her body and is doing it to regroup then more power to her.

It's useless to try and fight with the extremists. They see Serena as a deity they need to pray to but also for some reason protect. In their minds everyone else is out to get her and only they love her.

How the hell do you know that he's alienating her from her friends and family. That is rather presumptuous of you to make a statement like that. Are you one of the members of her team?

Petra should withdraw from Miami. That humidity is terrible for her. She should rejoin the tour in Europe.

I think Bouchard is taking time out to fix a few things. Let's see what the new coach did for her mechanics. Reworking strokes is very difficult.

IW draw will be out Monday night. I want to see a Vika vs Serena final.

Apparently Bouchard still has a arm injury? that is her latest reason for withdrawing.

Oracene and her sister Isha always liked to come Downunder...even her agent looked uncomfortable. He speaks to the media without the consent of her agent or Serena...remember him during Wimbledon when he went to the media without speaking with Serena..they gave different views of what happened. He is behaving like he is the star and not Serena...for her to discard Esther who saved her life when she had hematoma is very cold or Sascha who was with her during that difficult time is very sad...just because of a coach .:cry

Bouchard might really be injured. However, horrible mechanics like hers need major adjustments which cannot be accomplished while competing. I still wonder why he agreed to coach her. She is not likely to win a major unless the draw opens up a la Bartoli.

Her fhand is woeful,I still can't understand why any of her former coaches havent tried to correct the technique on her fhand quite frankly.

I kind of think the injury is bogus and she's just basically doing an off season to really get some time in with Sam. I hope she's taking it seriously because outside slams she's... one of the worst players in the top 20.

Most of us guys always felt that Sascha is a bit of a queen.. Yes he was good for Serena but he isnt going to affect mental approach to the game like a golf swing coach can affect a golfer's approach to the game..e.g. Tiger Woods and Butch Harmon

I just hate the celebrity they garnered just being hitting partner or coach. The media kept saying that these two made Serena win all those slams as if she has no brain.Serena is one of those players that have great innate problem solving skills and won before these unknown got on the bus.Sascha was unknown and Serena introduced him to the life of the rich and famous...gave him a name. The media was so desperate to get gossip from Sascha...now he is free to sing like a canary.
I think Sascha lost his job when Serena lost to Halep...maybe there was the blame game being passed around behind closed doors.
