I think people raised their eye brows with Vika when she sang Happy Birthday to Gael, please Vika stick to your day job,I cringed when I heard you sing, did you not learn anything from Redfoo? though he cant sing either.....moving on.Vika was seen in Gael's box in the HC season.I still think they would be a great couple, they are as goofy as one another.Gael is a free spirit on and off the court.Redfoo still has a lot of affection for Vika,he still watches her matches, you never know with those two, they could hook back up again down the track sometime. Also I was never bothered with the age gap,as many people were, when they were a couple.

Im so happy all like Vika now lol it was hard being the only tennis fan who seemed to like her for a while... I just think she's so bad ass

Well, not all, I still don't like her. But that's on court. Off court I don't care really.

Any other tennis star who has her own motor bike. This one Caroline gave herself on her 21st birthday - a Danish Lauge Jensen motor bike - great isn't it:cool:

Lauge Jensen is sponsored by the LEGO concern and will later this year be made in my hometown. Prices $100K and up.

It's still manufactured in Horsens but will later be moved to Vejle where Kirk Christiansen (or at least one from the LEGO family) has bought the old EGE carpet factory. So within the next ½ year or so it's ready in Vejle.

Ana has withdrawn from Moscau and will probably withdraw from Linz - more tomorrow. She had a MTO when she played first round today. If she's not ok it's a wise decision to withdraw. We'll see.
Despite talking about her hip problems and potential @WTALinz withdrawal, Ana was in a good mood afterwards

Ana always seems like she is in a good mood and is always ready with a quick smile. That is what I love about her! She wants to get herself ready for the YEC.

Most probably there might have been some penalty to drop out. So, she probably just
showed up, took a questionable MTO to justify her withdrawal.

p.s. This is pure imagination and is not based on facts.

The WTA Elite Trophy,a brand new singles and doubles event offering $2.15 million in prize money, will be staged in Zhuhai in southern China for the next five years from 2015 to 2019.

The winners of each respective group will advance to the single elimination semi final stage of the event.Meanwhile, six doubles teams will compete in a two-group round robin format, with the winner of each group advancing to the final.

The WTA Elite Trophy will take place in Zhuhai, and it will be played the week after WTA Finals at Singapore.

The event in Zhuhai will replace the Tournament of Champions on the 2015 WTA calender.

How about a WTA peasants trophy where the 10 players ranked 91 through 100 meet
at the end of the year in Cambodia and battle it out. :laydownlaughing

A couple of nice tweets from Serena:

Serena Williams ‏@serenawilliams 1 min

I'm getting my nails done in Paris and Some Americans walk in. They don't recognize me but I help them translate their conversation.....

..... from English to French. Than they ask me "are you studying here at the college?" Best compliment ever! #33yearsyoung #ADayInMyLife :lolz:

The 2015 Australian Open will feature 10% prize money increase, with men's and women champions being awarded $3 million each.

The overall prize money will be $36.3 million and Tennis Australia will out line the break down of the purse in the coming weeks.

Well we expected that didn't we. Good so the better the WTA finals will be.

Kerber and Wozniacki officially out of Moscow. Top seeds are Pennetta, Cibulkova, Errani, Safarova

For the same reasons I think Muguruza has withdrawn from Luxembourg as she's in the doubles competition.

My plea to the WTA avoid all WTA events for top 10 players on the racelist the week before the championchip.- goes for the SECURED places of course - then there won't be any "fake" withdrawals, and it'll be more fair to the tournaments taking place in that week, and will leave a fair chance for other players to have a good week. IMHO.

I agree with this, not really forbid, but allow the players to withdraw if they want, no question asked. Everybody suspects that all these injuries are bogus, and it's not fair, maybe some of them are real. In any case, everybody understands why the Singapore-bound girls are retiring left and right, and everybody agrees with them. So we're really playing charades here.

Former world No.1 - Kim Clijsters - will be the Tournament Director for the BNP Paribas Fortis Diamond Games in Antwerp, a Premier-level indoor event that is returning to the WTA calendar in 2015 the week of February 9.

New tournament director @Clijsterskim ready for her New rol. Diamond Games (9-15 Feb).
One of the traditions unique to the tournament in its first incarnation, and which will return for this reboot, is the coveted diamond racquet - anyone who wins the tournament twice in three years wins a special racquet made with 4.5 kilograms of gold and 2008 diamonds. It's worth $1.5 million. Mauresmo is the only previous winner of the racket:
