There is sure something in the water of unseeded locker room. Federer's is broken in the third. I would Brown to keep it up for a few more rounds. that match this morning was great.

Roger's return is just flat out atrocious and that's been the cause of many of his Wimbledon losses. This one is following the same pattern, I don't see him rallying here.

Stak wins the third. He is playing great. Roger needs to fix the shanking issue and return better. Let's see if he will step it up a notch. Stak is not showing any signs of being intimidated or anything. He is just playing his game.

Yikes. Fed down 2-1 sets. It's 7:30 over there now. If they run out of daylight, expec the roof to close and then it becomes an indoor match.

Didn't Roger say thta there used to be more upsets in slams before?

It is actually about time to rock the establishment. Long time overdue.

Another Falla/Benneteau moment for Roger in Wimbledon. I figure he will prevail in 5 once again, but one thing is for sure, there is only so many times he can avoid an early upset here. It's bound to happen some day. But credit to Stakhovsky. A brilliant S & V performance so far. In general it's a fun match, total retro style as if we are beamed back to the 90s.

This is it folks. The QF streak is coming to an end. An era is coming to an end.

There have been plenty of upsets already. An upset is never "due" Roger loses due to an inspired performance and also due to the fact he is washed up (or damn close). He wasn't "due" to lose after 36 straight QF's, though I'm sure that is all we will hear after this.

Not so fast my friend, Falla went even a step further and served for the match but could not jump over the finish line. Let's wait and see if Stakhovsky has the balls of steel like Rosol.

the ROS is a problem, no doubt, and Fed really struggled on too many of the big points - i think Fed made at least four fh UEs on break points.

but got to hand it to Sergiy - great game, unbelievable hand, and shockingly stable. (who else is reminded of Schmendrick the Magician?)

Schmendrick puts that right on the line and consolidates. wow.

Starkhovsky's serve is looking too good today, not been broken once. You're right though, let's see this through. 3 more serve games.

QF streak is way overrated anyways as it does not constitute a decent run for a top player. Roger's play in general the last 12 months signals the end is near, not one horrific match.
