Toughest quarter of the draw is now officially the easiest. I am liking my pick of janowicz as wild card.

Roger couldn't ask for better opportunities these last 2 slams and he has played horrible. I think it's the end of the road for him sadly.

I remember seeing Stakhovsky a few years ago thinking he was good - but he completely went away...

Knew I should have taped today....

Maybe Rafa can host dinner on Majorca....certain could fill a table with people who thought they were busy for the next 10 days...

You can watch re-runs of the full match on espn3.com. It is usually uploaded within a few hours. That is my plan. Also if you have xbox and other internet tv add on they have a watchespn app that should have replays available.

Congratulations to Sergiy Stakhovsky. His performance today was as close to Pete Sampras as it possibly gets. Brilliant display of clutch S & V combined with sharp ground strokes and nerves of steel. As if Pete himself (or John Connor^^) sent back in time his own version of 1994 into today to stop Fed from winning a record breaking 8th Wimbledon. What a crazy tournament so far, good lord. Federer, Nadal, Tsonga and many more all out before the 3rd round even started. Now we are basically all waiting for a Djoker-Murray final but I do not dare to predict anything here.

Roger didn't play his best match, but I think we have to give Stak credit for this one. He didn't flinch when the moment was brightest and persevered throughout the match, executing astoundingly at net and serving well. Also, Stakhovsky's BH was really good today.

I'm loving the S&V we're seeing at this year's Wimbledon. Great stuff!

Man, the "Draw from Hell" turned into the Draw of Surprises. Three of the top 8 lost before third round!

Also, Andy Murray has a GOLDEN opportunity to reach the Final. Barring injury or mental collapse, I should expect him to be in the Final.

In addition, we could possibly see a Benoit Paire vs. Jerzy Janowicz quarterfinal match-up at Wimbledon!

Rhythm , or lack of it, was the issue for Roger. Stak gave him absolutely no chance to settle. Also, if you go all year without facing a serve and volleyer, finally you meet one on faster grass, you just are not ready for it, even Roger. He struggled a lot .

Murray is locked for the final. No way anyone is beating him until he hopefully faces No1e.

Well, I think we can all say Roger has arrived at 31. The accuracy wasn't there. And so the return wasn't there. And that does take something from Stakhovsky. But, I don't want to take to much. He still played great. Still... it's not like he beat Roger 3, 2, 4. This was close. 2 lost tiebreaks. Great job by Stakhovsky. But I am indeed heartbroken. With Nadal out, Fed had a chance at making it to his semi with Murray fresh. Murray may have been too good for him. But maybe not. I was really hoping Fed would get his 8th Wimbledon the same year Nadal got his 8th French. I guess he should have won his 6th in row back in 2008 over Nadal if he wanted to do that though. Rough year for Roger. Really really rough year. He'll also now fall to #5 in the world, below Nadal and Ferrer. It will be the first time he hasn't been ranked in the top 3 in a very very very long time. I hate seeing the demise of champions.

Fedal, gone! Unbelievable. Hope Stakhovsky will continue for a few more rounds. Fun watching him play the way he did today. Congrats to a good and thoughtful guy!
