Some of the tweets about today's match compiled by a Serbian website B92, my personal favourite is Delpo's, such a sweet guy, I miss him.

Very happy to see what Andy, Mardy and Delpo had to say. Delpo is my 2nd fav. although Mardy would be if he still played. I thought Mardy and Andy's were particularly nice, especially given Andy and Novak's history.

Andy Roddick got Novak's slam total wrong lol.

"For all of you saying Djoker isn't a legend .Stop it. 6 slams (Mac 7, Connors, Agassi 8) wins as of now. Still in his prime.... Just stop."

Er, it's 7 now, Roddick!

Saw that. Credit though to Andy for giving Novak credit. That sounded repetitive.

The context in which it is posted on other websites indicate that he wrote that before the match was over.

In another tweet I think during the fourth set he called both legends and probably got responses that disagreed with Novak being a legend, so that was his reaction to it.

I edited that alright Billie 'cos I forgot it's already the 7th of July here but wasn't sure the exact time the match ended either. Sorry so Roddick :p

Mardy has always been complimentary of Nole and his game, they have a nice relationship. Andy was gracious as well, I agree. But I love it when Delpo calls him Nole:D

Nice to hear from DP; his match with Novak was the highlight of last year's Wimbledon. Reading his tweet made me smile that this year, Nole's best was saved for the final.

Nice to see you around, Billie, and congratulations to your man. Hopefully we'll hear more from you around here. Yes, so nice from Juan Martin. He's the forgotten man for the time being. I hope he can regroup when he's healthy.

He's been hitting for a couple weeks, which is promising. He posts a lot on facebook. I think he'll try to get some matches under his belt in the fall and really begin his assault next season.

Yeah, that is the reason. But it doesn't matter, I know how hard it is for people to accept Nole as one of the greats, he still has a lot to prove.

BTW: I gather you are a Fed fan, but I like your posts, they are so objective and balanced. :clap

It's a shame , but I actually think I check these boards just to see what Darth's analysis of Roger's game today. I sincerely doubt the way Rafa played that he couldn't have fought as valiantly as Fed did today on those slick grass courts . Bravo to both warriors and congrats to Nole and all of his fans. :clap

Thanks Moxie, I'll try. Usually I don't have much time, but I can't do anything today so here I am.:snigger

When he visited the ESPN set after the match, he was asked about Jelena and he said that he had to call her immediately after the match to check and see that she and the baby are alright. She replied to him: You should have won in 4 sets then. :laydownlaughing

Roger brought his serve and a whole lot of heart AP. The forehand, ROS, and some pretty poor net play is what did him in. Too bad, but Nole deserved it.

I heard that…hilarious! She told him to play shorter matches if he wants her to not fret. :laydownlaughing I think he mentioned that he would try.

Yeah Murat, not bad for Canadians, one in the final, one winning a doubles title (yay Vasek, so happy for him), one made it to the semi. Good showing alright.

Also congratulations to Sam Stosur and Nenad Ziki Zimonjic for their mixed Wimbledon title. Well done!!!:clap

There will be a lot of happy wedding guests on Wednesday.:D

Don't know if the stars will align like this again and Fed come in fresher(10 hrs on court) for a final(and it not being Wafa). Couple it being on grass, this one hurt. Agree with most here if Fed was going to win this, it would have to be in three or four. Overall, he played well and left it ALL on the court.

That being said give credit to Nole for regrouping mentally after the 4rth set disaster. Like Roger over Roddick in '09, Nole simply outlasted Fed who flinched last.

Congrats to his fans!

Fantastic link Billie. Here I thought Andy was dead. Roddick's tweet was fab. Jackman's too.

"For all of you saying Djoker isn't a legend .Stop it. 6 slams (Mac 7, Connors, Agassi 8) wins as of now. Still in his prime.... Just stop"

He took the words right outta my mouth. Sittin here tryin to think how to say Nole has proved himself a champion for the ages. Many thanks.

No, Novak is my favorite player. I'm from Germany and first noticed him during the French Open in 2006, when he had to play Haas in the third round and I thought Haas had quite a good draw but lost the match rather easily. I followed Novak's results after that and started to really like him during the same year.

But I always try to analyze the game from a somewhat neutral perspective in my posts.
